Only 1 star deduction due to the absence of a waste basket and despite a high dog-friendliness, no poop bags provided.

Small but nice... Good location just a few kilometers to the beach and to the nearest town.

Very well maintained, but almost sterile

The campsite offers pitches of about 100 square meters, which are uniformly flat and covered with grass. Every 3 pitches form a row, surrounded by hedges that are 1.80m high. This provides wind and weather protection and maximum privacy. Disadvantage: Due to the high, uniform, and opaque hedges, one feels almost behind walls, and even when walking around the site, there is almost nothing else to see. Although very well maintained, we did not feel comfortable here. The washrooms and toilets are clean, hot water is free, but only for 6 minutes. The toilets are not heated, and the shower rooms are only moderately warm, which is not very comfortable at night temperatures below 10 degrees. It is possible to order rolls, however, they cost €0.95 each! The owners at the reception were not unfriendly but seemed somewhat annoyed. Bicycles can be rented on-site.

This charming and not too large campsite doesn't have a snack bar, supermarket, or similar directly on the grounds, but it is quite conveniently located. Noordwijk, Noordwijkerhout, and therefore a variety of shops inviting for shopping and strolling, are easily accessible by car and bike. Nearby the campsite, there is an ice cream shop as well as two restaurants. The site is run by a very nice young couple and invites guests with hedged-off pitches, each with about three pitches of approximately 100 square meters, for a relaxed stay. The overall impression is well-maintained and clean. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily by cleaning staff. We just spent a very relaxing 14 days there again, and we have been doing this for several years.
