Camping Le Bodri

Very nice large camping site. Electricity is available. There are several small buildings with space to shower, wash dishes, do laundry, and have a toilet. Directly from the site, a small path leads to the wonderfully beautiful beach. 😍 There is also a small train station nearby, from which a few small trains depart several times a day from about 8 a.m. to about 6 p.m. heading towards L'lle Rousse and Calvi. Information about this can also be obtained from the campground. At the reception, there is also a small supermarket and a restaurant. We were here with our small camper bus for 2 nights in July.

Overall, the site leaves no wishes unfulfilled; it is centrally located and easily accessible even for large motorhomes. In just 5 to 10 minutes on foot, you can reach both dream beaches. The plots are beautifully laid out, providing enough privacy, and while the sanitary facilities are not new, they are clean. There is electricity every 30 meters, showers are included, and dogs are allowed. There is a supermarket and a bistro where you can find food options at any time of the day. We were there in June 2023 with our dog and rooftop tent and would gladly come back anytime.

We stayed during the off-season in September for 3 nights and there were plenty of spots available for motorhomes. The camping spots are all very spacious and mostly well-shaded. The sanitary facilities are somewhat aging but overall well-maintained. A particular advantage is the easy access to the beautiful beach and the bus stop to Calvi/L'Île-Rousse. Very nice clientele. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. Not so good: Access on foot or by bike to the nearby supermarket via the road or dune.

We were there at the end of September, so there were many free spots. The individual plots are divided with shrubs. The restaurant was already closed, but the shop was still open. The toilet facilities were thoroughly cleaned daily. The beach can be reached in 2 minutes, but at this time, there was no food truck anymore. The road is lightly audible; however, the train is clearly heard. This didn’t bother us. We would go back there. Generally much quieter than the sites in Calvi.
