A family atmosphere and excellent facilities await guests at Camping Le Barralet in the far south of France, west of Avignon. In the village of Collias, beautifully situated on a large meadow site with trees, there is a row of parcelled pitches and comfortable mobile homes. An idyllic river beach invites you to swim, as does a pool with sunbeds. Younger guests can play in the playground or have fun with the children's entertainment programme. Canoeing on the Gardon and Alzon rivers is exciting. A snack bar, a restaurant with a cosy terrace and a mini market leave nothing to be desired. There is a supermarket in Collias for larger purchases. The VE station is a welcome service for motorhomes.

Lovely campsite with views of the countryside and river. Staff friendly, toilets/ showers clean and pitches spacious. The pool is clean, there is a petanque, volley ball and basketball area with a small children's play area. Direct access to the river and the town where you can hire a kayak and take a trip to the Pont du Gard or cycle around using the many routes, take a bus into Uzes, or go climbing, there are many things to do. There is an onsite restaurant which offers a variety of meals including pizza and tapas, along with a bar area offering views over the hillside. Pitch/rental accommodation: Pitches were spacious with electricity and water within close proximity. I have rated our accommodation a 10 as it is our own.
