Camping La Vallée de Deauville

The campsite has a clear size. As is common in France, there are many mobile homes that seem to be mostly used privately by permanent campers. The pitches are nicely level and bordered by hedges. The sites in the front part are quite loud (during the day from the pool and the bouncy castles and in the evenings until 11:30 PM there is entertainment). Unfortunately, during booking, you cannot choose a pitch; these are assigned shortly before depending on the size of the vehicles. Unfortunately, there is no proper arrival lane, as we usually know it from campsites. There is only a parking lot for cars, which was very full on our arrival Saturday. The sanitary facilities were okay for French standards. They were regularly cleaned and mostly clean. Here and there was a bit of mold. Toilet paper and soap were not available. However, there were toilet seats :-) We are currently here during the high season in August and with full occupancy of the site, there could be more toilets and showers. The pool is very nice but unfortunately hopelessly overcrowded every day. For the children, there are two bouncy castles and two small playgrounds. The staff speaks English and is all very friendly and helpful. We are using Deauville as a good starting point to explore the great surroundings. For a few days of stay during a round trip, the campsite is well suited. I probably wouldn’t spend a whole vacation here.

Clear area, small plots. Nice staff, everyone speaks English. The sanitation building was always spotless. Unfortunately, no toilet paper and no soap. 4 showers are too few. In the morning, there was fresh baguette available for purchase at the bar. There is no supermarket, just a shelf with the essentials in the bar. The water in the indoor pool and at the outdoor water slides is very cold. Otherwise, there were not many activities available for 10-year-old children. The bar has a small "play area" for kids with machines - terrible. The animation is exclusively in French. Okay for a short stay, but I wouldn't come back for a two-week vacation.

Beautiful spot, parking spaces separated by hedges (chest high). Unfortunately, the new swimming pool was not finished yet and the outdoor pool was not open yet (Ascension Day). We missed a water tap near the parking space or a garbage can by the washing sinks, otherwise very recommended. Supermarkets nearby (2-3 km), and it's also about 2 km to the beach.
