Relais de la Sarvaz

The Relais de la Sarvaz campsite in the Swiss canton of Valais is set in a picturesque location surrounded by fruit trees. Around 2 km from the charming wine village of Saillon, this holiday paradise is located on 3 hectares of flat meadows. All 60 camping pitches, ranging in size from 70 to 100 square metres, offer electricity, fresh water and waste water connections as well as free WLAN. The campsite is open all year round and has a restaurant with a light-flooded conservatory for culinary delights. Valais specialities are served as well as small portions from the extensive children's menu. As in the brasserie, there is also a large selection of Valais wines in the restaurant. The leisure programme at the Relais de la Sarvaz campsite is independent of the weather. The camper house is a popular meeting place for guests, especially in winter. On the ground floor, games consoles, pinball machines and pool tables provide entertainment. The first floor is entirely dedicated to the youngest guests and offers numerous play options. When the sun is shining, the little ones can let off steam in the large playground: A trampoline, a slide and the climbing tree, among other things, provide exercise. Guests can also have fun on the campsite's own mini golf course. During the warmer months, the modern, heated swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off.

Attractions in the holiday region

Modern mountain bikes, children's bikes and electric bikes are available for hire directly at the campsite. Guests can use them to cycle to Saillon, 2 kilometres away, which is famous for having the smallest vineyard in Switzerland. The garden with just three vines on the Colline Ardente hill belongs to the Dalai Lama. The most beautiful way to get there is from the valley via the Farinet path, which is lined with 21 glass pictures. Nearby, a suspension bridge provides thrills for all those who hike across the Salentze Gorge. There is also a large thermal spa in Saillon. The colourful outdoor area with slides and playgrounds attracts families during the summer months. Those who want to relax can retreat to the sauna and hammam village. Inside, a 120 metre long thermal river is a delight.
