We felt very comfortable. Lots with sand. Wedges to pack as it's a bit crooked. Sanitary was clean. Pool was great. Supermarket well stocked. Rolls tasty. We'll be back!

Animation, Relaxation, and Sea All Around
Very good8

The place offers a relaxing atmosphere, a shop, and daily entertainment in the evenings. There is a playground for children, and the restaurant is super delicious and can be recommended without hesitation. In the village, there isn’t much to find, but if you drive 5 minutes by car, you will find a large shopping chain. The beach is easily accessible on foot and offers a nice view. At the ferry terminal, which is about 7 minutes by car, you can travel to one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. We spent 2 wonderful days there.

Friendly and helpful service, staff speaks German or English, we reserved the spot online on short notice and there were no issues upon arrival; quiet location, the site is meticulously maintained and gives a good overall impression, the sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned and were always clean; good and relatively inexpensive shopping options on site; several beautiful sandy beaches are not directly at the site, but can be easily reached partly on foot or by car and offer excellent opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and sailing. We want to come back!

Very Clean Campsite

This campsite impresses with its neat and tidy appearance! Even the entrance area is laid out like a park. There is the possibility to swim at 2 beaches, which are located to the right and left of the peninsula. Both are very long, so you can always find a spot to lie down. A shuttle bus takes you to the further of the two beaches, which we could also easily reach on foot. The entertainment at the campsite itself is also very nice. Shows for adults and special evenings for children create a good program. There is a small supermarket right next to the reception with prices similar to those in the city supermarkets. There is also a restaurant! The food is very good, we enjoyed it! The only downside is that there are many mosquitoes! But thanks to mosquito spray, that's not such a big problem! (also available in the shop! ;) We will definitely come back!

Very clean campsite. Sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. The reception is multilingual and extremely friendly. A very nice restaurant and a very well-equipped shopping market. Childcare and entertainment. The wonderful surroundings invite you to relax, but a hike is also worthwhile.

More info about Camping La Presqu'île de Giens
La Presqu'île de Giens campsite is located on the Côte d'Azur on the Giens peninsula. The island is known for its windsurfing and kitesurfing areas, but also for its special underwater world: divers can discover shipwrecks and numerous species of fish here. The campsite, which has a quality seal and values cleanliness and sustainability, offers an entertainment and children's programme. Three long sandy beaches are within walking distance.
Camping holiday with attractive leisure activities
Between March and October, guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday under the shade of the trees on this holiday site. The 168 pitches on the approximately 7-hectare site are generally designed for private mobile homes up to 7 metres in length. Sometimes they can also be occupied by larger vehicles. All pitches have electricity and internet connections. Some of the chalets and tent cabins are equipped with air conditioning, television and dishwasher. In addition to families with and without children, dog owners are also welcome: Thanks to the dog showers on the service-orientated site, your four-legged friend will return clean and sand-free after a visit to the beach. In the summer months, Camping La Presqu'île de Giens offers a free daily entertainment programme. Holidaymakers can keep fit with gymnastics and Zumba classes, for example, or show off their skills at boccia and tennis. Events such as cabarets and magic shows take place in the evenings. There is a special programme for children: In addition to a playground, there is a mini club with games, arts and crafts and a small cinema. The service also includes a shuttle that takes guests to the beaches and the market free of charge in July and August. Guided tours of nearby excursion destinations are also free of charge.
Amusement parks and sandy beaches nearby
Many excursion destinations, such as the beaches, can be reached on foot or by bike from the campsite. The organisers at Camping La Presqu'île de Giens offer beautiful walks around the peninsula. Bikes and mountain bikes can be hired on site. On the ubiquitous Mediterranean Sea, active holidaymakers can not only go pedal boating and kayaking, but also stand-up paddleboarding, kitesurfing and jet skiing. Divers and snorkellers also get their money's worth. The small harbour town of Hyères to the north of the peninsula is also a popular excursion destination. The historic old town with its medieval houses, narrow streets and pretty gardens such as the Jardin Olbius Riquier characterise this settlement on the Mediterranean. Halfway between the campsite and Hyères is the Magic World theme park with its numerous attractions.
