Camping La Paille Haute

A quiet, secluded spot. Spacious pitches with electric supply. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. We stayed here for one night while passing through.

A very serene spot for relaxation. Close to nature, beautifully arranged pitches on grassy ground with solid pathways. Lovely flowers and hedges. In summer, it's sure to be well occupied due to the existing holiday cottages. Ideal site for mobile homes and trailers. Very nice hosts. We used the site as a stopover in May (Canal-Germany). Taking the route through Belgium saves on tolls.

After we were at full (small) campsites on our return trip, we found this beautiful place. Spacious site, quiet (we only heard a small sports plane) AND dogs are allowed. So a good overnight stay option... unfortunately the local baker is closed, so provisions are only available at 2 external supermarkets (about 3km away) .

The campsite is very conveniently located for us on the way to Brittany or Normandy, which is why we spent two nights here as a stopover. The site is not far from the motorway but is very quiet amidst fields. Even in peak season, it is easy to find a spot, and you can even stay overnight with the trailer still attached. We were allowed to choose our own spot. The pitches are very large and partially separated by bushes and hedges. Arrival is possible until 9:30 PM. Since most people arrive late and leave early the next morning, we were almost alone on the site during the day. There is a small fishing pond, a small pool, and two playgrounds for children. The site is beautifully laid out, and everywhere there are hollyhocks, hibiscus, and butterfly bushes. You can pre-order delicious baguettes and croissants, but the delivery only arrives at 8:30 AM. The sanitary facilities are simple and quite old but clean.

Very nice campsite with large pitches. Swimming pool, two playgrounds, animals, bouncy castle and restaurant available. You can cycle into Array by bike. Other campers are mostly just passing through, we were there for only two nights. Sanitary facilities are in good condition with real toilets. Our children ages 1, 3, 5 were happy.

Small site 30 km from Cambrai. The site is a bit dated. Nevertheless, it offers everything you need for a longer stay... swimming pool, playhouse, playground, chickens, but everything is more geared towards small children. Many mobile homes, but also plenty of pitches for caravans or motorhomes. You can choose your spot freely. We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight on the way home, and the site was ideal for that. We, 2 people (teenage children stayed at home 😉) found the place okay.
