The location and environment are good. And if the water is still cold like it is now, there is the large pool.

Modern campsite with a great location, focus on rental accommodations but also some pitches. Unfortunately, too few sanitary facilities, so these are often relatively dirty and also not really well thought out. Great little market on site with really good selection, also fresh fruits and vegetables. Great pool, great beach right in front of the campsite (guarded). Unfortunately, here as well: too many dogs, so watch where you step. All in all quite decent, but not 5 stars.

Pros: • Proximity to the sea (sadly the only plus point) Cons: • Pitch unsuitable: strong wind (at least 60 km/h), no use of awning or outdoor furniture allowed • Constant dust and dirt from passing cars, which got into the motorhome due to the wind • Eating outside impossible • Restaurant only usable with reservation; ordered food unacceptable in taste and appearance • Sanitary facilities far away and in an unhygienic, dirty state • Booked WLAN not available • Service only responded with a 15 € refund for the WLAN and a useless voucher for future stays despite detailed complaint • No fair compensation despite early departure on 28.07. (booked until 01.08.)

We have now been here for the 4th time in 3 years and we are happy to come back. Sometimes we have rented a lodge with a whirlpool, sometimes we were camping with our van. We have always found the staff friendly and helpful. This time (Ascension/Pentecost) the small shop was open every day. You can get fresh croissants, delicious coffee, and an emergency supply of hygiene articles and food there. Unlike the high season (September/October), you must expect that it may not be open daily. The swimming pool and whirlpool are clean and we have always found the sanitary facilities clean as well. This time it was quite calm on the ground. It has also happened that there were parties or larger groups on the grounds, but lodges are just like tents and very noisy... we have never seen it as a major problem.
