Not far from the campsite is Lake Vouglans, which is not only ideal for swimming in the summer months, but also for a variety of water sports. Camping La Faz is located in the east of France just a few kilometres from the border with Switzerland, making the neighbouring country an ideal destination for a day trip. Campers can reach supermarkets, restaurants and other shopping facilities in the village of Écrille, 1.5 kilometres away, while the site itself offers a kiosk with snacks and drinks. The pitches at Camping La Faz all have spacious plots where travellers can spread out to their heart's content. There are also some fully equipped mobile homes available for hire. Standard services on the site include free Wi-Fi, well-maintained sanitary facilities and sufficient facilities for washing clothes. Dogs are allowed here and there is a large open-air playground for children. As an alternative to the many idyllic mountain lakes in the area, Camping La Faz also offers a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and benches. For excursions in the region, we recommend the golf course just 6 kilometres away as well as several scenic attractions. The Quinquenouille waterfall is one of the landmarks in the area. Campers interested in culture can visit the church of Saint-Hymetière or the abbey of Gigny by car. Even the Swiss metropolis of Geneva is an option for a day trip, as it only takes 1.5 hours to get there by car, crossing picturesque landscapes in the western Alps.
