Suitable for active families. Sanitary facilities and safari tents in very poor condition. Only half a star here. Cleaning staff overwhelmed and understaffed. The entire campsite gives a tidy impression. Shopping on site only in case of emergency - prices disproportionately increased. We will not come back.

We had high hopes, especially because it received such a good classification from the ADAC. The campsite itself is nice, a lot is offered (often at additional costs), but unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very outdated. They all need renovation. However, those who are not dependent on or want to use the sanitary facilities can spend a few good nights there. The shop is quite small, in the morning the baker offers baguettes and croissants, among other things. But there is a great supermarket Intermarché nearby if you want to do more shopping. The pool area is smaller than expected, and we found the water a bit too cold. Primarily, the site houses mobile homes/chalets and fewer campers can be found.

Although we had reserved a pitch with electricity and shade 6 months in advance, we were assigned a spot that required me to use two extension cords. The second spot had electricity but no shade. The only tree that stood there had likely fallen victim to a locust infestation. In the third spot, there was a dead pigeon that had been there for more than just 2 days. My wife took it in a bag to the "organic waste". The waste station was not worth its name. The refrigerator we received was already very, very old; the shelves inside by the door were missing, and the outside was rusty. The sanitary facilities were not fully functional. In one cabin, the light did not work, in another, there was hardly any water at the sink or shower. You could only swim in one small lake, not in the others. Back to our pitch - the pigeons - the entire tent and area were full of white spots (I looked up on the internet, this was said to be excrement from the pigeons (urine-salt extraction?). In any case, I had to have the tent washed at a laundromat. I would have preferred to leave on the 2nd day. I only stayed because of the 2 children that were with us. The range of recreational facilities is very good; hence the 2 stars. The sanitary facilities near the small rental houses were in significantly better condition. I had the impression that the camping spots were just a necessary evil for the operators. By the way, I would have gladly paid more! Next time, I will listen to my friend and inquire in a camping guide.

Not recommended for camping in autumn: muddy pitch that could only be accessed with rubber boots, the sanitary facilities were not heated. The indoor pool was practically unusable, as it was also barely heated; the glass roof above the pool was not completely closed with an outside temperature of 8°C. The lifeguard was dressed in a winter jacket and leggings!

The assessment of the sanitary facilities is, in my opinion, inadequate: Toilet paper dispensers are only in the hallway; if I have taken too little, I have to run out into the hallway with my bare a... to get more. There were no urinals available, and the floor next to the toilets was correspondingly splattered. When taking a shower, the shower water ran out into the hallway. The rooms were cold and drafty. In the wash cubicles, there was no socket for the hairdryer; the socket could only be found after a long search in the anteroom. The water only came out (lukewarm) after a long wait. This statement concerns the sanitary building in the immediate vicinity of the RV parking area; the other buildings did not seem much better at first glance! For one overnight stay, we had to pay 30 €. In our opinion, this is completely excessive. Manuel Güth
