Quiet location, within walking distance to the Cité and the town. We spontaneously stayed here for one night and were assigned a shady spot. Without a mover, the pitch is only accessible with a lot of muscle power or maneuvering :-/. Sanitary facilities clean and tidy, staff friendly. Walking path to the Cité along the river Aude. Recommended for a short trip.

Perhaps it was due to the failure of the computer systems that the reception was unfriendly and our request for a spot near our friends was rejected. Justification: The spots are reserved for motorhomes or caravans over 8 m. The next day, there was a VW bus parked there. We were assigned a very small spot where the car couldn't even be parked. The washhouse is quite outdated and not up to date. There wasn't even soap to wash hands. Due to the location and the uniqueness, they can obviously afford this.

The campsite was wonderful for us, especially because of the opportunity to let our dog play on the large meadow and to be able to go for nice walks with him around the campsite. The pitches are also very nice. The castle as well as the town are very easily accessible on foot.
