We came for the peace and returned home rested. Location/Accommodation: Wonderful accommodation. Spacious, clean, and well-furnished.

Cons

No bar and no fries after September 1st.

👍 Completely equipped. So anything you need is there. Campsite/Accommodation: In a corner of the campsite, there was a nice idyllic spot set up. Beautiful greenery by the river and a lovely little bridge. Equipped with small tables and benches. Very nice. With SMS, you could order fresh rolls (baguettes, etc.) and they would be on your table the next morning at 8:00 AM. Delicious. 👎 The shower was scalding hot or freezing cold. Impossible to regulate. It was supposed to be checked by a company, but unfortunately that never happened. The entrance door could not be secured. The clamps meant to hold the door were made of plastic and no longer worked due to age. "Handy" Bruno tried to solve this with two twigs. :-( Several things were clumsily repaired. Bruno had to make an effort not to appear grumpy. A gruff and clumsy man. Campsite/Accommodation: This is not a camping site to spend 14 days. Very unwelcoming...

Pros

The quiet environment, surrounded by trees. The tranquility of the place. The welcome and friendliness of the staff. Location/Rental Accommodation: *The cleanliness... clearly the strong point of this campsite! (Close to perfection... really very pleasant to arrive in such a clean place from top to bottom...) *Quality bedding. *Top-notch kitchen equipment. *The cleanliness, but I already mentioned that...

Cons

The pool! Location/Rental Accommodation: *The water temperature... (it's impossible to find a balance between boiling and icy water) *Mobile home that shows its age (but so well maintained... really!!!) This leads to some difficulties using certain relatively old amenities (like the mosquito net, for example...)

Pros

Small human-sized campsite with owners who go all out to provide affordable vacations. The guinguette is also nicely decorated (especially in the evening) and serves good dishes. The coolness of the trees is appreciated, and the small pool is nice. Location/Accommodation: You can open the two large sliding doors, extending the living room onto the terrace. Convenient small freezer. Kitchenette. Quite a bit of storage space.

Cons

Be aware that the network is not very good in the area. Possible mosquitoes in the evening since it is near a river. Location/Accommodation: The mattress is a bit too soft if you prefer it firm, and the toilet door cannot be locked. But you can work around that.

🤝 As a solo mom with two small children, the campsite had everything we needed to feel good, relaxed, and on vacation despite the two little ones. A region full of activities just a few minutes away, at most 30 minutes. We loved our stay and the warm welcome from the campsite managers. Site/Rental accommodation: All the comfort is there, as well as the essentials. It is peaceful, and the nature is lush. During the heatwave, the trees and the nearby little stream provide refreshing coolness.

👍 Reservation for a week in early August for two adults and two teens in a 5-person chalet. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly owners. The campsite is ideally located, just half an hour from the Gorges du Chassezac, with hiking opportunities starting from the campsite. The medieval village of Saint Jean de Valeriscle is very pretty with its small alleys. The region is beautiful. Location/Rental Accommodation: Positive Points: - Cleanliness - Spacious children's room - Plenty of storage in the rooms - Duvets and pillows with provided covers - Sufficient kitchenware - Reasonable price - Motivation of the new owners to improve the campsite they took over only a year ago. 👎 Unfortunately, swimming in the river "l'Auzonnet" is not allowed. 👍 We loved the region, the campsite is very pleasant and quiet, the other campers are very friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool greatly, and the small guinguette by the river is really nice. Drinks were offered on the first day, a very convivial moment. We are thrilled with our stay! Location/Rental accommodation: Very functional, with all the necessary equipment. 👎 It's a pity you can't dip in the river.. And the mobile homes are a bit close to each other, making it difficult to put the kids to bed when the neighbors are on their terrace.. that's the only small downside!
