Camping Komodo Gargazon

Great, clean camping site 🏕️ with young, dedicated hosts 💪! Quietly located, super organized and with bus/train included 🚆. Simply perfect for exploring South Tyrol 🌄 – I will definitely come back!

Price-performance ratio is not right. The toilets/showers were scalding hot, but clean. The pitches were simply with high gravel. No herring went into the ground. No shop or café. In the morning, there was someone only from 8 am, no one present at noon and back early in the evening too. Since there is no 'night rest', cars and campervans come in and out half the night. On the gravel, it was quite loud. The staff is not friendly or courteous. The farewell was cold. No thank you, how did it go, just a bye. For one or two nights not bad, but not for longer.

With CP Komodo, we found our place of well-being. The location is optimal, nestled between apple orchards, directly on the Etschtal bike path and a few minutes from the Gargazon train station. With the guest card, you have all the possibilities to explore the surroundings by train, bus, and cable car. (up to Brenner and Trento). The CP is lovingly planted. The sculptures by artist Martha Zigsch make the place unique. The Zisch family, especially Hannes Z., ensure that all guests feel welcomed thanks to their friendly and welcoming manner. The sanitary facilities are modern and high quality. The two friendly cleaning women work thoroughly twice a day. (they love chocolate...) We enjoyed our time here a lot and extended our stay twice. After six weeks, we left a little wistfully and are already looking forward to our next vacation in Gargazon.

Very nicely laid out small area with lots of greenery. Still in the development phase. It has 24/7 check-in and check-out. Very nice and helpful operators. The only downside is that there are no food provisions on site, such as a vending machine with drinks or rolls. The sanitary facilities are kept super clean and modern. We will come back with so much warmth and helpfulness.

A place that is worth visiting! Spacious pitches for motorhomes, very clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service, ideal starting point for cyclists right on the Etschtal cycle path, and much more. Very friendly and helpful operators. We would love to come back👍
