The campsite is very well located, more or less directly in Hallstatt... The operator has a dry sense of humor but is always friendly.. The sanitary house is somewhat outdated. Hallstatt itself is certainly worth a trip but totally overcrowded...

The site is good for many activities. The operator is very nice, hindquarters allowed. We stayed longer than planned.

We originally wanted to stay for one night, but ended up staying for 5 nights because Hallstatt has so much to offer. The place was perfectly okay, the sanitary facilities were clean and sufficient. The only downside was that Wi-Fi was only available near the main building, which slightly affected the overall impression. We didn't notice the unfriendliness of the operator mentioned in some reviews. On the contrary: on Sunday morning, there were 4 rolls on our camping table, which the operator generously provided, and before we departed, we received, along with a completely reasonable bill that included a substantial discount, a bottle of wine as a gift. We would love to come back here!

We cannot empathize with the frequently expressed complaints regarding the owner's lack of friendliness at this point. We were received and informed in an appropriate manner and without much formality. That one cannot expect plots the size of a football field in Hallstatt is self-evident; the valley is narrow after all. The sanitary facilities are in order, and we felt comfortable.

Beautifully located place. Ideally situated for viewing the Salzwelten and Hallstatt. Parking spaces are relatively narrow, especially when full. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The personality of the owner is quite unusual; he seems a bit unfriendly.

The site is beautifully located amidst steep, towering rock walls. The facilities are okay, not exactly lavish with only two showers and just two wash basins. The spaces for motorhomes are sized just right to allow the awning to be extended. What was remarkable was the extremely unfriendly, arrogant reception from the owner, who knows full well that the location of his site is indispensable for visitors to Hallstatt, and thus he does not feel the need to show even a minimum of normal behavior or friendliness as a host. We actually wanted to stay for two nights despite the unjustifiably high price, but we graciously declined a second night because of this.
