Camping Kirchzarten

Everything was good, but we didn't have any shade at our campsite.

Lovely place but lacking in tranquility.

The area next to the playground was not very clean. In particular, the former stream was heavily contaminated. When I suggested to the animation team to initiate a trash collection activity with the children, they responded that the management did not wish for this. At a 5-star campsite, guests should not have to collect litter. Therefore, I kindly ask you to at least take care of keeping the area clean. The animation program was based on a consumer and disposable attitude that does not align with us. The children should engage in crafting without any educational value. The animation team neither provided guidance nor ensured cleanliness on the grounds. I offered to clean the floor myself with a rake. I could barely watch it. The dishwashers were overwhelmed by the amount of dishes. The dishes came out greasy.

Camping Kirchzarten has been a reliable destination for us for years – enjoyable at any time of year. The sanitary facilities are impeccably maintained. If you want your own bathroom, you can also rent one. Especially dear to us is the children's animation during the summer holidays: simply adorable! You can feel the joy and passion of the staff. It doesn't feel like a routine program – the enthusiasm resonates with the children. In summer, the adjacent public swimming pool is a real highlight. Super well-kept, with slides, diving boards, a lazy river, and swimming pools, it offers fun for young and old. Additionally, there are many shaded areas for lounging. Even in autumn and winter, the campsite has its charm. Hiking, cycling, or skiing – there are many opportunities here or nearby, and the Feldberg area is perfect for excursions.

Everything was clear and well-organized. We were pleased with the free access to the swimming pool and the card for public transport in Freiburg.

A large space with all the comforts, very nice staff, clean sanitary facilities, good location for the Black Forest, Freiburg, France, and Switzerland, with the Konus card for extra convenience, cheerful children's animation, Bobo is something special.

This very beautiful, large campsite in the Dreisamtal is perfect for a family vacation with children. We visited in late summer, and the site is quietly located on the outskirts of Kirchzarten (the center is about 10 minutes walk away). The sanitary facilities and communal areas are very well maintained, super clean, and excellently equipped. There are even dishwashers available for free use. In addition to numerous pitches, the site also offers various types of mobile homes. As a family, we particularly appreciated the private bathroom (there are rentable bathrooms available with a large sink, toilet, and shower). Dogs are also welcome. Additionally, the site is completely barrier-free, making it easily accessible for wheelchair users.

As always, it was a great stay, though it was unfortunate that the stove was broken. Additionally, the cleaning stations for the cassette toilets were also not functioning. This should be repaired promptly at such a wonderful campsite. One great feature is the free access to the swimming pool, which is fantastic in this weather.
