Sanitation excellent. Staff friendly, but long lunch break. Site very well maintained. Ampere rating too low. Highlight is the free pool visit. Use of EasyClean is free. Despite heavy rain, the site dried quickly.

We were on the site for 14 days in September. We had reserved in advance and were assigned a nice quiet spot. The campsite is located right next to the public swimming pool, which closes at the end of August, but swimming remains possible for campsite guests. We experienced the last open day of the pool, it was very loud, i.e., during the season you can expect quite a bit of noise at the campsite. The sanitary facilities were always very clean, and the Wi-Fi was great at any time of the day! The pitches are partly under pine trees and spacious enough, not separately fenced off. The campsite can be recommended with a clear conscience and is a real alternative compared to the partner site "Säge Mühle" in Prad. Negative: An offer for a 14-day stay was published on the website, only... when it came to payment, they did not recognize this offer, even though it was still on the website! Even the owner could not find it on her own website... But we remained persistent, and it was then charged according to the offer.

Very friendly welcome from the attentive staff at reception. The parking spot is level and offers plenty of shade on sunny days thanks to the trees. The sanitation facilities were top-notch and always clean. We would love to return!

The campsite is situated very quietly on the outskirts of Prad and near the Etsch bike path (Reschensee-Meran). All camping spots are generously sized and there is sufficient distance from neighboring spots. The majority of the spots are located under pines, hence the name. This makes the site very cozy. The sanitary facilities are great: everything is professionally tiled and equipped. In the spacious shower cabins, there are various storage options for personal care items and plenty of hooks for towels, etc. I often missed this at other places. The water is hot all day long. The shower fixtures are of very high quality. The toilets are also high quality with water-saving flush systems. Toilet paper and disinfectant for cleaning the toilet seat are available. The sinks are separated by glass partitions (if that’s important for someone to know) and are all in impeccable condition. The dishwashing area is also very well thought out. Large aluminum sinks, good storage options for dry dishes, and hot water available all day make dishwashing easier. You can tell that someone has put some thought into this 😊 Waste separation is taken very seriously here. There are 5 different bins. Electricity and water are available at all spots. There is a rolls service at the reception area where you can digitally enter your order by 6 PM, and the rolls will then be delivered the next day. Otherwise, the baker is also within a few minutes walking distance. A pizzeria is also located nearby. Speaking of reception: very friendly and helpful ladies work at the front desk 😊. When paying, I was even asked if everything was okay (this question was actually only asked once during the 3 weeks!). The campsite has direct access to the public outdoor swimming pool with well-maintained lawns (like on a golf course 😊). Admission is free for all campers. All in all, a great and very quiet campsite that we have taken to heart and where we felt very comfortable. It deserves 5 stars from our perspective and is highly recommended 👌🏻👌🏻😊.

We have already been to this place a few times and look forward to it every time anew. The pitches are large and have a great view of the nearby mountains. Sanitary facilities are clean and new. Everything you need is there.

In September 2019, we were denied the Vinschgau Guest Card, although it was advertised in the campsite's own brochure without a minimum stay requirement - Brochure Page 23 - Quote: "Free rides on all public transport during your holiday stay". When we inquired at the reception, we were informed that the card is only issued with a minimum stay of 7 days. Sanitary facilities and the site are OK.

Beautifully located family campsite. A few years ago we used to come here every year and this year we finally had the opportunity again. Back then everything was already in great shape. Now everything looks newly renovated again. The staff is still super friendly. You feel very comfortable here. We will definitely come back.

Camping Kiefernhain is a holiday paradise for families looking forward to an eventful holiday. The scenic location with magnificent mountain views and comfortable pitches make for an unforgettable holiday in the heart of nature. Varied entertainment, swimming fun in the pool and a wide range of leisure activities provide plenty of variety. The pony rides are a particular favourite with the little ones.
On the edge of the Stelvio National Park, Camping Kiefernhain welcomes its guests near the village of Prad at 900 metres above sea level in sun-kissed South Tyrol. The picturesque location in the heart of a sparse pine grove offers guests an impressive view of the surrounding peaks of the Ortler group. A total of 180 sunny and shady pitches are spread over a total area of 2.5 hectares. The pitches range in size from 65-135 m² and offer a high level of comfort thanks to their own electricity and water connections, free Wi-Fi and night lighting. The niche-like arrangement of the gravelled pitches ensures personal space and individuality. The playground and the varied entertainment programme for children mean that young families can also enjoy a carefree holiday here. The adjoining outdoor pool with giant slide and sunbathing lawn is accessible to camping guests free of charge, as is the sports centre. Other facilities at this campsite include modern sanitary facilities and washing machines, a recreation room and numerous sports facilities ranging from horse riding lessons to beach volleyball. Camping holidaymakers like to cater for themselves in their caravan or mobile home. However, the snack bar has tasty snacks and a variety of drinks to satisfy any hunger in between. Naturally, travellers with dogs are also very welcome at Camping Kiefernhain. A dog shower provides your four-legged friend with refreshment after an extended hiking tour. A supply and disposal station is available for motorhome travellers.
The favourable location in the beautiful Vinschgau Valley makes Camping Kiefernhain an ideal destination for nature lovers. There is a lot to discover in the north of Italy, as a 250 km network of trails awaits hiking enthusiasts around Prad. For example, the valley side on the Sonnenberg and the routes along the Waalwege - which are also suitable for families - are among the most scenic hiking areas. There is a public transport stop 200 metres from the entrance to the Kiefernhain campsite. This makes it easy to reach a variety of excursion destinations such as the "Museo della Val Venosta". This museum of local history provides interesting insights into the development of the Venosta Valley. The Renaissance-style "Castel Coira", better known as Churburg Castle, in Schluderns is a popular photo motif that holidaymakers can explore as part of an exciting guided tour.
