Káto Alissós campsite is located in the north-west of Greece's largest peninsula, the Peloponnese. It is located directly on the turquoise blue sea, just a minute's walk from the beach. The distance to Kyllini with its marvellous mountain ranges in the surrounding area is 45 km. The Káto Alissós campsite has a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. There is a playground with swings and seesaws for the little ones. In high season, guests are welcome to take part in folk evenings with music and dancing - a great way to get in touch with Greek culture. Cookery courses and wine tastings are also held. After extensive cycling tours or a successful day of fishing, guests can relax in the communal lounge or in the private garden.
Conveniently located for users of the Patras ferry port. Thousand-year-old olive tree.

We wanted to spend the last night before the port of Patras. There were only a few motorhomes at the campsite. The sanitary facilities were not clean and quite run down. We also could not find the way to the sea. We drove away again.

Sanitary facilities are old and very rundown. During our visit, they were also not clean and in the morning there was no water running in the sanitary buildings. Very unfortunate because the operator welcomed us very kindly. Maximum for one night if the ferry leaves from Patras in the morning.

We happily take this spot when we come from the ferry - no matter what time it is. Even deep in the night, one is still welcome; there is always delicious food and good wine at the restaurant right next to the spot. The sanitation facilities are very basic, but well maintained. One can comfortably reach the beach via a staircase; however, for a long-term holiday, we would prefer other places.

Nice operators, no question - BUT - More of a place for youth. Maybe it was the timing. But I can only judge the time I experienced. Great young people, about 150. And they party until 5 in the morning. At least you don’t hear the numerous roosters in the neighborhood as much. What I found really annoying was that the campsite allows cars and motorcycles to drive around all night. Since the place is relatively narrow, they drive right past the camper. The sanitary facilities are from the 70s. I find that acceptable overall. As far as possible, they are clean. That's just how it is in Greece.

We chose this place because it is not far from the harbor and we were very enthusiastic! Great spots, everything available (restaurant, small shop, and sanitary facilities) and very nice operators! We were even allowed to stay until the afternoon without extra charge, really top-notch and recommendable!
