Unfortunately, location is not everything! This one is beautifully situated on the Main. The so-called passing pitches are just as expensive as a good place at other campsites. These are narrow, hardly suitable for sitting, and you trip over the many haphazardly laid power cables from fellow campers in front of the door. The site is unbearably loud at night. Highway and freight traffic. Sleeping is difficult here. Only half of the unisex containers were open. Too few for the relatively full site. For a woman who needs to quickly use the toilet during busy times, it's a problem. €36.50 in the low season, showers cost extra, which is too expensive for this place!

We made a stop here. All good. Currywurst and fish & chips from the beer garden too. The new sanitary facilities that can be reached via a grid stairway at elevation don’t seem to be a big hit for us. Tight completely enclosed cabins in concrete gray and similarly tight urinal boxes without privacy partitions. But as a well-accessible stage stop, we will surely come back.
