Since there are no half stars, the site gets four, but must be careful not to slip down. Classic campsite with a good mix of permanent campers and tourists. Beautiful location by the Weser, although without a view of the water. The pitches are relatively small (often not even 80m2). There are only 10 showers (for 176 pitches plus several tent meadows). The sanitary facilities are in decent condition, but not the newest. 1€ for 5 minutes of warm shower water is also quite steep, especially since the meter continues to run even if you turn off the water, e.g., while soaping up. The so-called "Little Shop" is more of a joke, okay, there are fresh rolls available on pre-order, but otherwise the selection is very, very modest. Suitable for a long weekend, but not really appropriate for a longer stay. The friendly operators secure the very tight four stars.

Sanitary facilities are okay and clean! Beach by the Weser with a view of a seal and more industry! Campsites are okay! And even idyllic! Ask about the washing machine! Small shop and morning rolls!

Scenically located. Canoe rental possible in the village. Restaurants with home cooking. Great team at the reception. Registration via the internet, even on the same day, preferred. No EC card, only debit and credit card. Spots large and comfortable, without water connection, access currently more complicated via detour. Whoever has mastered this answer can drive anywhere.

Few and only unisex showers that are not really clean. Other sanitary facilities are only cleaned once a day around noon (according to the notice) and look accordingly in the evening and the following morning, especially when it is rainy. The grounds appear carelessly designed and maintained. In summary, one gets the impression that there is no passion and effort put into this place; it seems like money is being taken without much care. At most, three stars.

This place is in close proximity to the Weser. It is equipped with many trees that provide a lot of shade. The Weser has a nice sandy beach and you can go swimming. The ferry across the Weser (300 meters) can initially be somewhat disturbing due to noise, but you quickly get used to it. Also directly next to the site is a lake where you can also swim. Children have a playground, and cycling is possible on a large scale. The cities of Bremen, Oldenburg, and Bremerhaven are at a manageable distance. The toilet facilities are in order and close by. The shower rooms are a bit further away, but they are also in good condition. The site could be better lit at night.

Nice operators, lots of trees, many children and dogs. We'll be happy to come back! We brought our little furball along, 10 months old, likes to bark while playing! Our camping neighbors did not like that at all!!! The license plate said DEL. We hope not everyone from there is like that when a dog suddenly has its 5 minutes, because we can't stand continuous barking either! Aside from these unpleasant neighbors, there were very nice people everywhere! The Weser Beach is simply great and beautiful! Across from us is the factory! And to the right is the ferry! It didn't bother us at all because the swimming area is wonderfully beautiful! However, showers and dishwashers cost extra, which is very unfortunate, for that a deduction point. Toilets are located in the entrance area, no direct sink, which also leads to a deduction point. We would love to come back, hoping to have nice campers around! It was great with you.

The Juliusplate campsite is a very nicely situated campsite right by the Weser River with a great sandy beach. The operators of the site are very nice and accommodating. I admire every time how this place is managed and run without electronic aids. This can sometimes lead to longer waiting times. After you register, you are personally guided to your pitch and the facilities of the site are explained. These are basic but very clean. Escape routes are strictly adhered to here, and if caravans, tents, or motorhomes are parked too closely together or the paths do not have a width of 4m anymore, you are asked to correct this. This may cause surprise or annoyance for some, BUT it serves your own safety and I think it is good that attention is paid to this. For hot water at the wash basins, you need 10 cent coins, for which you get 2 minutes of hot water. For a 5-minute shower, you need a shower token. A good idea to prevent wasting hot water. The sanitary facilities are locked and you get 1-2 keys. We managed well with that and there was never a shortage, also because there is a public restroom at the reception. In the shop, you can get the essentials, and there is a great bread roll service! For the electricity supply, you should have a long power cable or a second one with you, as it can be a bit longer to the next box; with 30-40m you are on the safe side. The Weser beach is right by the site and depending on the tides, more or less wide. The sandy beach invites you to sunbathe, and dogs also feel very comfortable jumping into the water. We really enjoyed the long Ascension weekend and we will be back.
