Clean campsite, lots of peace, no WiFi, thermal bath dirty.

December 2022

The campsite is clean and well-organized. The sanitary facilities have very good equipment. Unfortunately, they are not cleaned regularly. We were at the site in January 2023, having been there several times in past years. 22 euros per day, for a plot, 2 people, and unlimited access to the thermal bath with camping card, is a very good price. WiFi is not available at the site despite all promises; this has been the case during all our visits. They save on qualified cleaning staff at the thermal bath. The floor is sometimes mopped, but the water is changed too little. The cleaning equipment is also unsuitable for a bath. A slippery layer has now formed on the floor. The privacy walls by the toilets are so narrow that using the toilets here is difficult. The snack bar in the bath offers a simple menu of poor quality. If you can adjust to the shortcomings, you can experience a few nice days. It is advisable to bring bicycles, as the distance to the town and the shopping facilities is far.

Spotlessly Clean Campsite

Very good8

February 2022

I parked my motorhome at the campsite in March 2022. Both the access road and the pathways on the site are paved or tarred, and they are also wide enough that even "big ships" have no problems. The pitches are gravelled and thus always clean. The sanitary building (seasonally, only the front one was open, which was completely sufficient) was always spick and span and well heated. With a magnetic wristband, one can access the thermal baths directly from the campsite (included in the price), without having to go through the hotel entrance. If you want to keep your own kitchen cold, you can participate in the breakfast and dinner buffet at the associated Jufa hotel at camper prices, which is plentiful, good, and varied. The staff is extremely friendly, thanks to the lady at the reception who quickly ordered me a bathrobe, which was already there the next day. Thanks also to the two head waiters who manage the operation well with their staff and always had a kind word to share. However, one criticism remains: The Wi-Fi at the site does not deserve its name; it often takes minutes for a page to load. The manager of the hotel and campsite promised improvement in this regard, I will return in April and hope that this has been addressed by then. If the Wi-Fi had been better, a fifth star would have been deserved.

Good campsite, but it has been declining year by year..

May 2020

I have been camping with my family at the campsite for 5 years, for at least 5 times a year.. we always have the same pitch by the second sanitation house further back in the site.. every year it gets worse and worse with this sanitation house. Three years ago, a shower broke and it has not been repaired yet.. two years ago, our hot water was turned off, the garbage bin was removed, and we had to use the front sanitation house.. and this year there is no hot water anymore and no possibility to wash the dishes, let alone use the prepared cooking stations because in that room there is the bouncy castle (which was advertised for the children last year), electric radiators are standing at the stove and packaging material is at the washing areas.. We were not informed at the reception or advised that we cannot use the sanitation house.. then we would have taken a spot further up front.. (we always take a spot further back to have a view of the playground which my daughter uses) or I am now considering not coming back at all..

Thermal Camping

Very good8

August 2018

We were at the thermal camping in September and we liked it very much. The camping facilities and sanitary facilities were very good. The thermal area was also very good. However, we had actually received approval from our health insurance for an outpatient cure (3 weeks). We could not start this because we arrived on Sunday and the cure doctor (rheumatologist from the hospital) only has office hours on Saturdays, after repeated inquiries. So we would not have been able to manage our stay time-wise. Very unfortunate. The staff should also be better informed in order to provide competent information.

Very nice well-maintained campsite at the thermal bath

August 2018

The campsite in Celldömölk at the thermal bath is very beautifully laid out. Each pitch has an electricity connection. Very well-kept facility. Sanitary facilities clean and orderly. One can walk directly to the thermal bath in swimwear and enjoy the very nicely designed bathing landscape and the different pools.
