Small tidy spot
Quite a tidy spot with very friendly staff. Some pitches are a bit narrow, but those with a sea view are somewhat neglected. Pizzeria and bread roll service available. €25 with electricity in January. Excursions can be booked at the reception.

Campsite Not Suitable for Beach Visitors
I was fortunate to experience a rain shower in Catania. All the rubbish, sewage from Catania came out here below the cliff… I'm glad I wasn't swimming here. This campsite is not suitable for relaxation. If you want to visit Catania, it is conveniently located for one or two overnight stays.

Beautiful, centrally located campsite
We were welcomed very warmly and received a pitch directly by the sea. The sanitary facilities are good and are thoroughly cleaned several times a day. Hot water and toilet paper are included. Clean Campsite, Not Suitable for Beachgoers
Clean campsite, right by the sea but access is over rocks. Restaurant and bread delivery service available. The tours offered on the homepage are not provided.

Ideal campsite to explore the surroundings. When was the last site inspection by ADAC? Sanitary facilities are desolate and dirty. Very Nice Campsite
Very animal-friendly, very nice staff, good sanitary facilities, directly by the sea (volcanic rock beach) with access possibilities, nice parcels (shady, partially shady or sunny), the (inner) city is very easily accessible on foot, unfortunately the path is mostly next to a very busy road.

Camping Jonio impresses with its location on a lava rock terrace right on the coast. The site is located in the quiet residential neighbourhood of Ognina in the town of Catania. In the shade of tall trees, camping guests can enjoy the view of the vastness of the sea. Travellers can spend relaxing hours on the private beach. The campsite is also a first-class starting point for exciting snorkelling excursions. Steps, jetties and diving boards make it easy to get into the water. Campsite with its own diving centre
If you are travelling with your own tent, motorhome or caravan, you will find spacious pitches at Camping Jonio. The pitches are equipped with CEE sockets and some include sanitary facilities. WLAN is available throughout the campsite. Other services include a washing machine, tumble dryer and a diving tank filling station. Holidaymakers can also expect bungalows, holiday homes and flats as well as so-called huts. These all have their own sanitary facilities, kitchenette or kitchen, fridge, TV and air conditioning/heating. Some guests can enjoy a sea view.
