Quietly located campsite in a high valley about 5 km west of Appenzell, at the foot of Kronberg with summer toboggan run and high ropes course. Affordable starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours, and family activities. Dominated by long-term campers, only a few pitches for tourists on a slightly sloping grassy area without trees. View of the mountains.

Camping Jakobsbad is very well located, with a beautiful view of the Kronenberg. Camping site Jakobsbad in Jakobsbad has been our favorite campsite in Appenzellerland, N.E. Switzerland for many years. Very nice and centrally located camping in the Appenzellerland for hiking, visiting Appenzell, and excursions in the region.
Special transit spots for motorhomes and caravans, on grass or grass grid ground. Each spot has separate wooden wedges that can be used.
