Perfectly situated to explore Lucerne and if you want to swim in the lake or get active, there is a leisure pool across the street. The people in the square are very nice and helpful. If you want, you can buy something small and also eat on the spot. Larger shopping is also possible nearby, about a 10-minute walk. The only thing that is no longer so good, or has likely aged as well, are the sanitary facilities. They are otherwise fine. If you need Wi-Fi while on vacation, it doesn't work very well and is also not very stable.
