ACSI discount in the high and low season. Beautiful, rural location. About 180 tourist pitches and 60 rental accommodations. The pitches are ‘dusty’. Almost no grass. The swimming pools were (when we were there) only open on weekends. Had delicious pizza. Paella was not available (it was on the menu). Wi-Fi was a disaster. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. The waiter did not want us to use the Wi-Fi on the terrace of the restaurant. I explained that I had to work occasionally and that the website states that Wi-Fi is available… He had no understanding of this. There are a few old caravans with ugly plastic tarps around. It’s a pity they allow this. Plenty of shade from trees. A lot of bird droppings on the caravan, car, and furniture. On weekends, it was very busy. A lot of noise. Also because the Spaniards are quite 'present'.

We've never experienced anything like this...

...we tried this afternoon to get a space for two or three nights. After the ladies at the reception briefly interrupted their gossip, we were told that the place was completely booked. It was shortly after 4 PM and at least half of the spots were still empty, but okay, that may be. Since we were traveling with a toddler and a baby and had already covered quite a long distance (which we also explained to the ladies), we specifically asked again if there was somehow a possibility to accommodate us at least for one night - even if it meant parking in a parking lot or similar.. They just sluggishly denied it, no, they were fully booked. No further offers of assistance, nothing. We have never experienced anything like this in our 15 years of camping. We definitely will not return.

Disappointing! Does not belong to the palace gardens! Only a few small spots by the Tagus. Spots are mostly very small with dusty-dirty ground. From the many beautiful deciduous trees unfortunately many very large and difficult to remove droppings from birds! Do not stay there unprotected! Positive: Fresh and waste water connections at every spot (included in the price).

The place is super nice and quiet right by the Tagus, a bit outside the city. You can reach the city in about 15 minutes on foot, near the palace. The sanitary facilities are clean, but unfortunately, the showers only trickle along sadly. The price for WiFi is, with €4 per day and €15 per week, however, ridiculously overpriced.

Always take exit 37 of the M-305 with larger trailers so that you don't have to drive through A. In the center of A, there are many one-way streets that branch off at right angles.
