Camping Insel Buchau

The campsite is located on the idyllic Buchau Island in the middle of Lake Staffelsee in Upper Bavaria. This unique island location in the "Blue Land" region offers you a very special nature experience away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by water and with views of the Alps.

Since the site is on a real island in Lake Staffelsee, getting there is a bit of an adventure. You reach Buchau Island from Seehausen am Staffelsee. It is best to check ferry connections or boat transport in advance, as the site is car-free.

This site is ideal for anyone looking for pure peace and nature. Due to its secluded location on the island in Lake Staffelsee, it is perfect for tent campers, paddlers, and anyone who loves the simple life by the water.
