We really liked the campsite itself, we had a nice, large pitch. The sanitary facilities were always tidy, even though we never saw any cleaning staff in 3 weeks. At the attached restaurant, you can eat well and are served kindly. Disadvantages: Apart from the daily roll service and a rich selection of wines, there's almost nothing to get from the campsite. We had the impression that the municipality wants to make money from the site, and nobody is interested in anything else. You can just see the difference compared to a privately organized campsite that is run with heart. Nevertheless, we had a great time.

Beautiful, small, and manageable place. Sanitary very clean, friendly reception. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was still closed. The place is ideal for excursions to the wine villages of the Pfalz. We will come back.....

Nice reception. When we didn't like a spot, they immediately searched for a solution. And found it. As an "apology," they sent along a small bouquet of roses. What a nice gesture. The areas are partly gravelled, which makes a lot of sense due to the rain.

Campsite and toilets very clean. Unfortunately, no discounts on ADAC or other cards, although the outdoor pool has already closed. At the reception, we were grumpily received (the staff member seemed to be in a bad mood), but it improved when another employee took over the next day.

We were warmly welcomed. Beautiful campsite with modern sanitary facilities. Water and electricity at the parking space. Very good restaurant at the site. Nice service and friendly, open-minded owner. We did a spontaneous wine and schnapps tasting. And of course, we also went shopping afterwards. Thank you very much.

Last stay: 12.08.-19.08.2023 (8 days) Clear camping site with 70 mostly partitioned pitches. Operator is the local community of Billigheim-Ingenheim. The staff were very friendly. During quiet hours, the gate remains closed. The comfort sites at the edges are spacious plots (> 100sqm), where caravans, awnings, and cars fit comfortably. The comfort sites in the interior are somewhat smaller (estimated just under 80 sqm). The comfort sites have a shared water connection (two adjacent sites) and each site has its own sewage connection. Electrical connection with CEE plug. The sanitary facilities (one sanitary house) are simple, but even at full capacity, everything was always exemplary maintained and clean! Many sites could learn something from this! The cleanliness deserves 5 stars! Warm/hot water was always sufficiently available. Thank God there are no shower tokens! Toilets are sufficiently available. There are plenty of lockable washing cubicles, in which one does not feel claustrophobic. A bit of whining at a high level: the dividers in the showers are so small that the clothes brought along almost inevitably get wet. Solution: just go showering in a bathrobe with slippers. Covered dishwashing areas outdoors are sufficiently available, so there are rarely short waiting times. From our perspective, totally OK! Washing machine and dryer are available. The site is framed by rows of trees, which provide very nice shade on the outer pitches when it gets very hot. Due to the Klingbach flowing directly by the site, the humidity can be uncomfortably high in summer. Fortunately, the expected mosquito plague did not happen. Highlight: With the access card for the barrier system, access to the adjacent swimming pool, with a large sunbathing area, is free of charge. You can go in and out as often as you like! According to my information, the swimming pool is set to be modernized starting autumn 2023. In the reception building, there is a small camping shop (the most important sanitary supplies and a lot of wine! Here, you also pick up the very tasty bread rolls that must be ordered the day before.) and a restaurant with Balkan cuisine. The restaurant is often praised in reviews. I experienced the place and the food as rather average but tasty. Definitely a recommendation for a cozy dinner at the site, but nothing special. Very nice service. Reservation recommended! The campsite is located in the middle of the southern wine route wine-growing region. Billigheim-Ingenheim is surrounded by vineyards and there are many wineries in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, we did not discover a real Palatinate wine tavern in Billigheim-Ingenheim itself. The next small village "Klingen" (Heuchelheim-Klingen) is reachable by foot or by bike. Here, depending on the season, there are also wine taverns. Many of them, however, are on summer break until the end of September. Shopping opportunities in Billigheim-Ingenheim: A large Edeka offers a wide range for daily needs. For the shopping trip, a car or at least a bicycle is advisable. Surroundings The nearby cities are Bad Bergzabern and Landau. The beautiful old town of Wissembourg (Weißenburg) in the nearby Alsace attracts with many eateries. Tip: Definitely try Tarte flambée (the flammekueche originates from Alsace!) On the way to Alsace, you pass the German wine gate. The nearby Palatinate Forest invites to beautiful hikes! Summary: The site is a real recommendation. Timely reservation is absolutely necessary! We will certainly come back!

For me, the sanitary facilities are primarily important. And here, they deserve a 2+ according to my standards.
