Campsite with a large selection of pitches. Ground is compacted, making it difficult with tent pegs. Sanitary facilities are clean and up to date. Campsite owner very nice and helpful. For the one week, it was totally relaxing as there was very little going on. Recommended.

The site is very close to nature and quiet. The operators and the staff are very friendly. Dogs are welcome. Special thanks to the groundskeeper, who had to pull us in and out of the site due to rain. Now we come to the negative side. A note that we would be camping on the tent meadow would have been nice. It wouldn't have been great even in good weather, considering physical limitations. The distance to the sanitary facilities is already very far.

The site is located in very beautiful nature, but seems somewhat neglected. Abandoned long-term camper sites are partly overgrown. The power box is freely accessible to all campers, but is in a pathetic and very dangerous condition, as live connections are exposed and thus pose a risk to life! Although we had consistently nice and dry weather, since one parks the caravan, camper, and car on the grass, we can imagine that there could be significant problems during departure when the grass is soaked. The sanitary facilities, especially those for men, are evidently only cleaned minimally. Moldy and germ-infested shower stalls (the walls are moldy and the shelves have yellow-brown edges), the sink in the toilet area is also infested around the faucet. Thick (old) cobwebs can be found in the toilet stalls. The toilet paper dispensers are partly covered in thick dust. For disinfection, there is only a pump spray bottle in front of the door that all campers have to use. By the way: the path from the tent area to the restroom is very long and only very poorly lit. Especially for older people, this is a significant obstacle. A mobile toilet service with a wastewater tank could easily be set up here. Fresh water is available. There is also no free Wi-Fi, and tokens must be purchased to shower. If you arrive with a large tent, electricity is by no means included. The connection is then charged, and a daily fee is also applied with the words: for a campsite, one cannot expect that electricity is included. (although this is stated in the price list) Furthermore, the barrier for entering and exiting is closed between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, so your daily planning is quite restricted. For the price, Wi-Fi and showers are long included at other sites and, above all, clean and hygienic sanitary facilities should be standard! Especially in times of Corona! The lunch break rule has also long been abolished at modern sites. Normally, we would not award any stars, as the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and COVID measures are the most important criteria for us. But the location of the site definitely deserves one star. *It gives the impression that the inn and rental accommodations are polished to a shine, while the campsite with the sanitary facilities is only there because it is there* Too bad! If you do not want to offer services such as free Wi-Fi or free showers, shop, and paved pitches, you cannot charge prices for this site as if it were a 4-star site. (For you 3 days with a large tent, 3 adults + 3 shower tokens/day €11.70 * 4-star site Traben-Trarbach with Moselle view all-inclusive, including electricity €105,-- ) Clean sanitary facilities should definitely be a given. (Unfortunately, no responsible person was found during the search (Fri, around 9:00 AM)) ... should we stay at this site again (which is rather unlikely after this experience) and the condition has improved, we will of course amend this review.

We stayed for 2 nights at a castle view pitch and are glad to have found this idyllic spot. The sanitary facilities are new and very clean! There are shower tokens for the hot shower, you get 6 minutes! Including washing hair (long curly hair) is absolutely sufficient! The restaurant has a nice outdoor terrace, and the interior feels very cozy and rustic. The food was very good! Whether cheese spaetzle, hunter's schnitzel, or goat cheese on salad, everything was very delicious. The dishes at the other tables also looked very tasty! Our dog was also welcome and was allowed to accompany us for dinner in the evening 😉 Friendly owner, very lovely staff, we will definitely come back!

I agree with all the reviews of my predecessor. Clean toilets, delicious food, very nice care. Stayed only one night but it is ideal for that.

We were at this campsite for 10 days! It is wonderfully located, right by the Ehrbach! The children had a lot of fun and the parents did too, of course! We got to know the surroundings. We visited a castle, saw the largest cold-water geyser in the world, and much more. The campsite is very clean, and the owners are very friendly and nice! We will definitely come back!
