Camping Hendre Mynach

Campsite Overview

Campsite Intro

If you listen very carefully, you can hear the sound of the sea at Camping Hendre Mynach in Barmouth. The beautiful Barmouth Beach is just 100 metres away and can be reached via a footpath. The town centre can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes. The campsite is situated on hilly terrain and offers grass and paved pitches with electricity and water connections for motorhomes and caravans. Some pitches have a TV connection. Gas canisters can be purchased from the friendly staff at the 24-hour reception. There is also a shop for everyday shopping. Children can let off steam in the playground

Rather simple, well-kept campsite near the beach.

Small shop with a limited selection. Secured pedestrian crossing over the railway line - only a 5-minute walk to the Atlantic with (at low tide) beautiful sandy beach. Tide table £2. WiFi on site £6/24 hours. Free WiFi at the tourist information center in Barmouth train station. Good shopping opportunities in the town - about a 15-minute walk, restaurants as well as fresh fish & chips. Signposted hiking tours in the area. Particularly recommended is the 'Panoramawalk' with a wonderful view of the course of the Afon Mawddach, the old wooden bridge across the estuary, and the seaside resort of Barmouth.
