The campsite operator was not overly friendly... The pitch chosen from the available (small) pitches was large enough for a caravan with an awning, but we had to park the towing vehicle on a free secondary pitch, which in May 2024 served as a soil depot for gardening work. It could get very cramped during the season. We did not use the beach due to the sightseeing program and mostly fresh winds in the evenings. Bread was available on pre-order, with the nearest grocery store and bakery about 1-2 km away. Hot showers - despite contrary statements in the ACSI-CC guide - only operated after inserting money into a machine outside the showers, and it did not always work. The 1st minute of limited shower time was already used up after inserting money and walking to the shower.

Cannot understand the good reviews, was there in mid-May everything was very run-down the owner very unfriendly. At least the toilets were quite clean. Price-performance does not correspond to the premises. The beach is nice, that was it. No shopping opportunities no wifi.

September 2023
Was there at the end of September, beginning of October. I cannot understand the partly good reviews. The villages around the campsite are quite deserted. Without a bike or scooter, no shopping is possible. Restaurants only open sporadically. Showers at the site were only cold. Payment only possible in cash. Sanitary facilities were mediocre, mirrors splattered from top to bottom. The beach was very nice, but that was it. I would definitely not use the inflatable pool.

We were here for 4 days in April. We really liked it. A natural place with a great beach and very helpful owner. I can only recommend it. Sanitary facilities are clean.

Ideal campsite for campers, green and well-kept pitches. Very friendly staff. Camping directly by the sea, beautiful beach and sea, very clean water. From the campsite, you can quickly reach Selinunte or Sambuca. The area around Triscina is wonderful. We had some fantastic days in total tranquility. Helios Camping is definitely worth a stop. Nice campsite for campers and motorhomes, very green, nice and very helpful owner! Currently, there are even 4 sweet cats living on the site. On Saturday evenings, there is always delicious pizza (in the high season definitely even every day!). The campsite is fantastic right by the sea. Large sandy beach, very clean water and, for Sicilian conditions, a clean beach. From Helios Camping, you can easily do day trips to Selinunte, Sambuca, etc. The butcher in Triscina is a great cook, so you should definitely stop by for lunch or dinner! Would love to come back! We had some very nice and relaxing days here at Helios!

Highly recommended. A clean campsite right by the sea (natural beach). Beautifully designed with lots of plants and the pitches are paved. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. It feels very family-like here. You can really relax. The owner makes pizzas himself, which are very delicious. A good starting point for the sightseeing attractions in the area. It's perfect for small children and also great for dogs. The sanitary facilities are clean and there is a bread roll service. We have been here for the second time and will come back in the future. As guests, we came and as friends, we left, that was how it felt for us. We thank you for the lovely holiday and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Small campground at a beautiful beach. The owner is somewhat unfriendly. Our spot was close to the beach and paved. The sanitary facilities are clean, showers with warm water cost €1. There is an above-ground pool available, but we didn't use it due to the beautiful sea. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of August. Cost for one night for a camper and 2 people: €31 + €5 electricity and €2.50 visitor's tax - so relatively expensive.
