The campsite, which is open all year round, is located not far from the centre of Heinola on a small wooded island on the shores of Lake Ruotsalainen, which is spanned by the impressive Tähtiniemen silta suspension bridge. There is a beach on the island for swimming. In the immediate vicinity, four saunas allow you to immerse yourself in the typical Finnish sweating culture. A children's playground, a mini-golf course and a beach volleyball court provide fun for the whole family. The campsite with its log cabins and pitches for motorhomes and caravans is also a good starting point for boat and fishing trips as well as excursions to Lahti and the Päijänne lake district.
