Very friendly and helpful staff, well-kept washing and shower area. Ideal for the first time after arrival in Dover or the night before departure.

Very well-maintained park-like and quite large campsite with clean facilities, a small shop - and a late arrival field, so that you can also arrive late at night or leave early in the morning - very convenient due to the nearby ferry terminal Dover (about 10 min. away). Very quiet except for a few trains on the nearby railway line, which only run rarely at night. But well connected :)

Scenic camping site with old trees, hedges, and large plots. The small train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot and is ideal for trips to London, Canterbury, etc. The noise from the train affects only those pitches located next to the tracks, and after the change of engines a few years ago, it is no longer really worth mentioning. Additional fees apply for dogs and hardstanding pitches. The sanitary facilities for ladies in the first sanitary building have been renovated, but unfortunately, I could not notice any changes regarding the showerheads. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is dependent on the users of the facility. With completely renovated sanitary facilities, we would use the site more often and also for longer stays. The ferry port of Dover can be reached in a few minutes!! There is a separate area for late arrivals. The surroundings are suitable for smaller bike tours and walks; there is a riding school approximately 1.5 km away.
