The operators of the campsite are super friendly, and what’s offered for the kids on site is excellent. The campsite itself is nice, but there are a few areas that could use some renewal. The sanitary facilities were okay but unfortunately not very clean. It looked like everything was just hosed down and then wiped. What I found quite disappointing was the temperature in the showers; especially at this time of year, there should be more heating in the bathrooms. The campsite's restaurant is also very nicely decorated, but the food was just okay. I found the rump steak to be a bit too expensive at €30, served only with herb butter and no fries (which had to be ordered separately), and no salad or anything on the side. I think that's a bit pricey. The fries with the other dishes were unfortunately not cooked through (they were way too light). So, we would definitely go back, but in the summer when we are not so dependent on the shower temperature. And we wouldn't eat on site again.
