Also usable as a campsite in winter. Friendly reception with adequate opening hours, clean and sufficiently large sanitary facilities, overall a well-maintained site. Particularly good: No fireworks on the site on New Year's Eve and hardly any audible fireworks in the surrounding villages. Our dog was deeply relaxed. Negative: The internet service. Mobile coverage is hardly available with Telekom, and the (at least free) Wi-Fi is unreliable. A bit negative: The pricing policy. Prices like in the summer high season, even though the offer on the site is clearly limited (of course no water directly at the pitch, etc.) and rather expensive electricity, which is also invoiced in a somewhat non-transparent way (I will take an electricity meter with me on my next visit). Overall, especially with a dog over New Year's, so far unmatched.

We were with our family at the Harfenmühle campsite and stayed in a holiday home. Everything was perfect - very friendly and helpful owners, a beautiful site, and great activities for children like the daily gem hunting. On departure day, the accommodation was not checked, which pleasantly surprised us - of course, we left everything clean. A campsite that I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. The reception at the site was very friendly and everything was nicely explained. It’s great that you can rent climbing harnesses and adventure backpacks here. The surroundings are original and the playgrounds at the site are varied. Particularly nice is the swimming pond and the water play area with the morning gem search for children. The sanitary buildings are clean and modernly appointed. A nice children's bathroom is available. Through QR code, there is a simple roll service with delicious rolls, and in the barn at the reception, there is the possibility to buy a few small items.
