Campsite Intro

In the Fjord Norway holiday region, the peaceful Haraldshaugen Camping is located right by the sea and boasts fabulous views of the North Sea, plenty of nature and great fishing opportunities. The spacious campsite is located 3 km north of the centre of Haugesund. The charming trading town was once home to the Viking kings and is home to cosy cafés, restaurants and a wide range of shops as well as the Norwegian national monument Haraldshaugen. A coastal hiking trail leads from the campsite to the Kvalen lighthouse and to Kvalsvik with its beautiful bathing spots. On the edge of a cottage village, Haraldshaugen Camping, which is open all year round, also offers a grassy area for motorhomes and caravans. Barbecue areas, a panoramic house with a view and a rustic parlour with an open fire invite you to linger and socialise.

Very nice place with extremely clean sanitary facilities and everything you need as a camper. Even a sheltered little house with a view of the sea… and very friendly people!

Very Noisy at Night

Franziska

July 2022

Very loud place at night. No adherence to night rest, not checked by the campsite. Requests for night quiet are met with sarcasm from the individuals. Gravel site, cramped.

Good campsite on gravel with electricity connection and good amenities for campers

Very good8

Good campsite right by the sea. Invites you to hike by the water. A glassworks has been built directly with a sea view from the campsite. Here you can watch the sunset sheltered from the wind. But the best part is the free disposal of the chemical cassette with CamperClean. Everything is included in the price. Showers too. With CamperClean, even the sanitary fluid is included for free.

Space to Relax

April 2021

The location of the site is unique, with the Norwegian Sea and the historically significant site of the Haraldshaugen monument always in view. With some luck, you can snag a motorhome parking spot in the front row and enjoy the great view. The clean sanitary facilities make a good impression. The staff is extremely friendly. And the camping toilet - no joke - is emptied automatically and filled with sanitary fluid. A great innovation.

July 2019

The place is close to the sea with a magnificent view. There are golden seats in the front row. A pathway to the lighthouse is located right at the place. And if the weather isn't so good, you can sit in the cozy greenhouse.
