We have just opened a brand new bathroom, the best we've ever seen on a campsite in the new section. Spots with beautiful sea views

The sanitary facilities are not recommended. Clogged showers. Dirty shower facilities, outdated, have seen better days. Toilets no longer securely attached to the floor. Dirty, The daily cleaning? Dirt on the floor. Underground! Unfriendly reception. I relied on the review from ADAC, definitely needs to be re-evaluated.

The evaluation of the sanitary facilities by ADAC deviates drastically from our impression on 03.07.2018! The rust on the steel plate of the outdated paper dispensers has a multi-year development behind it. Daily cleaning has evidently been abandoned. Grimy shower curtains, bundles of hair, and dirt on the floor, e.g., in the "family bathrooms". Underground! In contrast, a beautiful location, also with a sea view. Short walk to the steep coast panorama, long sandy beach for hiking. Swimming is not nice due to algae at the shore. For anglers, it is probably a paradise. The site is ideally prepared for larger groups of anglers with a covered filleting hall and many freezers. Another highlight for children and adults is the extensive riding offers. This is definitely a special aspect. Awkwardly, the partly rundown and weed-covered permanent campers with their wooden makeshift constructions are unattractive. This is something a traveling camper on vacation would not want to see for the proud daily rate of about 50 euros! (2 people with sea view) However, it is also very quiet during the day, and one can recover nicely from technical noise sources. It remains hidden why no black ear was awarded for this.

One should choose a pitch on the cliff with a wonderful view of the sea, even if the path to the washroom is then a bit further. For children, there is a lot on offer, large playgrounds where everything is fine except for the pedal cars, which are a bit rusty. Sanitary area is good, the showers are okay but could use some refurbishment. Free WiFi everywhere on the site, sufficient for surfing and writing messages, with an option for a higher bandwidth access for an additional fee. The TV room is more of a joke, a storage room with a TV, but since we only watched a European Championship game, that was okay with me. After all, you are not there to watch TV ;)

Overall a good campsite, the only downside is the condition and function of the showers.

We (2 adults, 2 children, dog) had a spot with "sea view" (great) in superb weather. Beautiful area, beautiful beach. Entertainment predominantly in Danish-English - only a little German. The kids wished for more German children to play with. Our dog also got along well with the many Danish dogs. The pool with slide was a hit. Overall a nice place, though the travel time (without traffic jams) was longer than expected. Definitely visit the fish snack bar in Hanstholm. The food in the restaurant is also good!
