A wonderful place to take a deep breath
Great. Friendly, uncomplicated, and with few requirements. Sanitary facilities simple, but very clean. The location is fantastic for all who love water sports. We felt very comfortable.

Wonderful idyll right by the lake
Very good service, the beautiful town of Murnau is reachable on foot. Clean sanitary facilities. No mass tourism. Very good homemade cakes. Delicious food, nice beer garden. Good value for money.

There are a total of 130 holiday pitches on the approximately 2-hectare natural camping site. Water access, electricity connections and the use of the well-kept sanitary facilities are part of the standard facilities. The campsite also has its own restaurant, which caters for the physical well-being of visitors with home-style cooking, cakes and delicious ice cream. The directly accessible shore of the Staffelsee is a popular place to refresh yourself with a dip in the cool water, especially in summer. There is also a playground to keep younger guests entertained. Above all, however, it is the excellent location in the middle of the Alpine foothills that has something to offer everyone with its countless cultural and natural excursion destinations. The region's most popular activities include extensive hiking and cycling tours. In addition to relaxing walks along the lakeshore, a challenging tour over the ridges of the Ammergau Alps and the numerous themed hiking trails are particularly recommended. The surrounding area is also ideal for exploring by bike. In Murnau am Staffelsee, which is only about 3 kilometres away, there are bike hire shops. Those interested in culture will also get their money's worth with a visit to the castle museum, the historic coach house or the impressionist Münter House.
