Camping Groven

We booked for one night as part of a round trip in Norway. Here’s what we noticed: + even, gravelled pitches with adjacent grassy area + electricity, fresh water at the site + free choice of pitch + well lit at night + very well-maintained sanitary facilities + in the shower, an ante-room with a bench to put things down + sufficient hooks in the shower + in the women's toilet, additionally a toilet for toddlers or a changing mat + roll service for bread + very nice seating areas near the reception + shopping options nearby + very friendly and helpful owners/staff + quiet + easily accessible greywater disposal + modern, clearly structured waste disposal + walking paths in the immediate vicinity of the site Overall, we find that this campsite has a very well-thought-out concept.

The place is very beautiful, super clean. There is great food, local drinks. The staff and owner are very, very friendly and helpful. There is a lot for children. A house building set, trampoline, goats, swimming lake, boat rental, just so much...

Great campsite with a small swimming lake nearby and nice hiking opportunities. In the village itself, there is a larger lake nearby. You can rent paddles for a small rowboat to go fishing. There are great play opportunities for the children. The sanitary facilities are new and clean, and the operators are very nice. We would definitely go there again. The overall package with an affordable price earns it 5 stars from me.

First-class gem on the tour through Norway or Scandinavia. For hiking, climbing, relaxing, swimming, resting, and disposing of ourselves with the camper van. Fantastic for children and very well equipped. Friendly staff and clean facilities. We really enjoyed it.

This campsite is ideal for families with younger children, as there is a small swimming pond, a goat pen with an adjacent playground, and also a giant trampoline on the premises. Furthermore, the campsite offers a small shop and bread roll service. The sanitary facilities near the reception are very modern and new. The pitches have a generous spacing from the neighbors. During the day, the noise from the adjacent main road can be heard, but it dies down at night.

We needed the space for an overnight stay. The conditions were good enough.

Very nice, partially newly landscaped terraced site. Campers stand level on gravel next to a lawn area belonging to each campsite with electrical and fresh water connections. Sanitary facilities are very well maintained, friendly and helpful service. Everything exemplary!
