Camping Green Village (Frauenau)

Very idyllic, no plots, no prohibitory signs, beautiful places, campfires allowed (!!!), sanitary facilities clean. What more do you want? Great place for nature lovers.

We were there in June. Very nice place with many trees, plots bordered by bushes and trees. Small but fine. Sanitary facilities very clean and well-maintained, bright, and with enough space. It was a bit cold in the shower house since it was early June. Top: Guest card included, making it easy to use buses and trains to reach the national park. Train station a few minutes' walk from the site. Very good public transport connection. Provision at the site with bread roll service. No other offerings in the immediate vicinity. Quiet location despite the road, as there is little traffic in the evenings. The stream makes a pleasant sound. The whole atmosphere was very family-oriented. You arrive, choose a spot, and the operator comes by in the evening to take care of the formalities. The price is really okay. We will definitely come back more often!

The site is very nice, the sanitary facilities are clean, one feels very comfortable there. We would love to come back.

I was at the site for 3 days, just enough time to search for the "very good sanitary facilities" for campers/caravans. The chemical toilet tank was covered with a rusty can, hardly recognizable, and the water flush was out of order. I did not find any separation of gray water and chemicals. For me, that was an imposition. The site itself was nicely laid out, and the old trees provided pleasant shade during this heatwave. The shower house was clean, and the amenities were top-notch.
