A small, beautiful, very clean campsite with very friendly staff and inclusive access to a particularly nice unheated outdoor pool with a large slide, children's pool, and 25 m swimming pool. The area offers various hiking and biking tours with regional highlights (Marienglashöhle, Lauchergrund...). The campsite is also well-suited as a starting point for trips to Wartburg with Drachenklamm, as well as Erfurt and Weimar (including Stasi and Nazi memorial sites). The roll service rounds it off. The kiosk is only open in good bathing weather. Otherwise, shopping options at the campsite are limited, but a supermarket is reachable on foot in 10 minutes, the butcher is 100 m away.
