Camping Geiranger

A great location right by the fjord, the pitches are large enough. A lovely starting point for hikes. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the showers can be paid with a credit card.

Excellent location by the fjord with a direct view of the harbor and possibly cruise ships. The sanitary facilities were always top-notch during our stay. Those who enjoy hiking or taking excursions in the area, including boat tours, will feel at home here. The price was reasonable for the service provided, considering Norway is generally a bit more expensive. Also ideal for relaxing for a day or two while passing through. Longer stays might be a bit acclimatizing due to the tourist flow, especially when cruise ships dock. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 3 days.

Totally muddy in wet weather, only a few places are gravelled. Expensive and many tourists from the cruise ship walking through the square. Cannot recommend.

The fjords of Norway can be wonderfully enjoyed here. The location is great. From the harbor, one can take wonderful fjord trips with the regular ferry.

A beautiful campsite (divided) and right by the fjord. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but when the area is full, there are too few sanitation facilities. The placement in the front area is somewhat chaotically organized. Some motorhomes still arrive looking for spaces and driving around at 10:30 PM. However, the view, especially in nice weather, makes up for a lot.

Beautiful place. Clean sanitation facilities. Not so crowded at the end of August. The ground is relatively softened after or during rain. Good starting point for hikes.

Relatively clean sanitary facilities in sufficient numbers, clean washbasins. Very beautifully located by the Geirangerfjord. Unfortunately so overcrowded that we had to squeeze in with a tent between two motorhomes. Still highly recommended.
