Camping Ganthaler

The campsite is superbly located among fruit trees, and the pitches are arranged like steps.

We stayed at this campground for 2 nights. Spontaneously, on the morning of the first evening, I was able to get a pitch. The pitches are well divided into terraces. All pitches have trees, some older and some very young. The toilets and showers were clean. The tent meadow looked good too. You can order rolls in advance until the evening. And the restaurant was good too. The pool was a meeting place for the children, and there was always someone on the tennis court.

Small site, tennis court, pool, roll delivery service, clean, dogs no problem. For people who prefer simple, quiet camping. The attached restaurant is also very good.

Small and very nice campsite! Good starting point for bike tours and hikes. Nice and helpful contact person! Grocery store 800 m away! We will come back :-)!

We were there for one night. It was really great. Yes, it is really a very small place. Everything was super clean. The restaurant was also excellent. Highly recommend it. There were four of us with a dog.

Very beautiful and lovingly arranged campsite between Bolzano and Merano. There are only 30 pitches in different sizes. In May or outside of the holidays, there’s always something available. The friendly operators are happy to help with information about excursion destinations and give tips. The food in the restaurant is very good. The sanitary facilities are clean. We will definitely come back.

We reserved there for October 2018. When making the reservation, we provided all the details of the caravan and the towing vehicle (size, etc.). Upon arriving at the site, we had to wait half an hour for someone to come, and then it quickly became clear that the only available spot was far too small. After a brief discussion and attempts to somehow fit the caravan there, we were just told that it didn't make any sense and that we were just out of luck. We were told to leave and look for something else. The only problem was that at that time ALL campsites were fully booked. The site may be well located, but the service is the lowest of the low.

Despite overcrowded parking and camping spaces, we spontaneously got a spot and felt very comfortable during our stay. THE site is terraced and built with a lot of care. The spaces are separated by green plants. The grounds have a pool and a tennis court. The restaurant offers excellent pizzas from a real wood oven. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. The only minor disturbance was the noise from the cars on the street below. We will gladly return next year!
