We utilized this year-round open site for a stopover in mid-January and paid 22 EUR/night (2 people, caravan, electricity). Friendly staff. A separate, very large area for tourists. We could choose between pitches there and free plots among the long-term campers. Free City-Esch Wi-Fi. The sanitary facilities were found to be basic standard, clean, and heated - OK.

Old campsite in the green on a hill of Esch-sur-Alzette. Marked by permanent campers with neglected caravans. It has the feel of a caravan graveyard. The sanitary facilities are very outdated. Various open pipes and supply rooms. Strange smell. Many flies. Access only by card. At least the ladies at the reception are very friendly. There is only sporadic mobile reception and no Wi-Fi on the site. Positively, the plots are very large. In 15 minutes one can walk (there is also a bus connection) to the train station and then in 25 minutes to Luxembourg. As buses and trains are free throughout the country, the site is a passable alternative for city tourists if the more modern sites around the capital are fully booked. €34 for two nights, one person with electricity.

The campsite itself is nicely laid out and the restaurant is too. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are more than dreadful! Everywhere there are small flies and nowhere is it clean! It smells like urine everywhere! There are also no rolls to buy and no supermarket where one could buy small items.

We stayed one night at this site while traveling. €18.80 for two adults with a camper is very reasonable. The sanitary facilities were clean. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise; the meat, sides, and even the dessert were fresh and homemade, truly delicious.

Dog-friendly, quiet, beautiful tree stock, nice snack bar, still quick access to the city via shuttle bus or on foot, free zoo right next door, beautiful hiking trails starting right from the place

Have been there several times over the years, time and time again. Great for families. Nice location, good starting point for many excursions including to F. Always enjoy being there.
