On the plateau of the fortress mountain of the same name, in the light pine forest and on natural grassy areas. One of the two castle entrances as well as hiking trails lead across the campsite. Pitch areas are partially slightly sloped. Panoramic view over the city and fjord.

Simple but beautifully located campsite.
+ extraordinary, absolutely fantastic location on the grounds of a fortress, where you can enjoy wonderful walks + pitch freely selectable + clean sanitary facilities in sufficient numbers + storage options in the shower + seating area in front of the reception + small snacks + a dream for children … More

Interesting Surroundings for a Campsite
Sanitary facilities are as good as new and clean. The terrain is a bit uneven, but otherwise a great environment. The castle grounds can be explored.

It's okay, very clean shower and toilet Open until 14.09. 280 Nkr for electricity + 2 people, showers 20 Kr for 5 min.

Frederiksen Camping is located right next to an old, largely walkable fortress. 280 NOK including electricity. Shower 20 NOK.
