There are nicer places in Croatia

Sanitary facilities are aging. The beach is rocky with many stones, all covered with algae and mud. There are nicer beaches in Croatia. Lots are sufficiently large. The staff was friendly.

Nice, manageable place for those who don't need frills.

Somewhat aging place. Situated off the beaten path, so bicycles would be helpful. Staff friendly and helpful, drooping branches were removed almost immediately by the gardener upon request. Sanitary facilities old but clean.

Beautiful quiet campsite

Beautiful campsite, The water in the bay is somewhat murky, this is due to the sand replenishment; if you go swimming a bit further out, the water is super clear. Every day there are fresh rolls at the small bakery. The sanitary facilities are clean. Great for dogs. The restaurant is good. The staff… More

The only thing that bothers them is the customer! Unacceptably unfriendly, no customer-oriented actions

Already spoiled the holiday mood during the first minutes. The receptionist and the site manager were extremely unfriendly and uncooperative. Booked 80-100m² was assigned only 50-60m². The site manager's response was, take the spot or go back despite several free spots being available. Sanitary faci… More

Not recommended

I would not book this campsite again. Small pitches and sanitary facilities are already quite old and not clean in some areas. It is not worth recommending for me. We were only there for one night. The water is suitable for children, as it gradually gets deeper, but not for swimmers. Very noisy in t… More

Description is incorrect

Unfortunately, there is no surf or dive school or rental nearby. The nearest school or rental is 3 km away, but it's not worth it. The cleaning ladies were always diligent. But there were also hair clumps that I saw lying in the same spot for 5 days. There are some things that need repair in the w… More

Medium-sized campground with everything you need. Friendly, inexpensive, clean.

Not small, but not large either. Lots are sufficiently big, but usually not flat. Clean sanitary facilities. Baker and small supermarket. Direct access to the sea. Great for dogs. Also good for cyclists.

Beautiful campsite, great Wi-Fi, but not for swimmers

The place is great, the Wi-Fi exceptionally good, the restaurant (only fries as a side) is just okay, fine for children and dogs to splash around, but the very gradually sloping beach is not suitable for swimming. It takes a long time to get to water that is more than knee-deep. The entire staff is … More

More infos about Camping Finida

The well-kept campsite is surrounded by pine trees directly on the Croatian Adriatic. The child-friendly site offers ideal conditions for a family holiday, and romantic sunsets are perfect for couples. Four-legged friends can also feel at home here: Dogs are allowed on the grounds and on the beach. Various sports and leisure activities are offered along the coast, and small harbour towns enchant visitors with their medieval charm.

Camping directly on the Croatian Adriatic

The campsite site is largely gravelled and mostly flat. All pitches and facilities are accessible for people with reduced mobility. Camping Finida is located in the middle of a lush pine grove, nestles directly on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and can be reached quickly via a central country road. In a very beautiful location, guests have a good 200 pitches of around 100 square metres at their disposal, most of which are shaded. The campsite has well-maintained sanitary facilities and washrooms. There is an extra child-friendly sanitary area and a nappy-changing room for younger guests. Washing machines are also freely accessible. Dog owners can enjoy a separate dog shower after extensive visits to the beach. Guests can cater for themselves in a small supermarket, there is a pizzeria and a restaurant serving regional dishes. Free WLAN is also available in the restaurant and reception area. An extensive range of diving and windsurfing courses, a volleyball court and bike hire round off the campsite's feel-good concept. The Adriatic coast of the Istria region is known for its rocky beaches. A small sandy beach has been created especially for children, and there is a playground right next door. The paved beach promenade runs all the way to Umag, 7 kilometres away, and is ideal for long walks.

Mediterranean landscape and culinary delights

Camping Finida is located between the harbour town of Umag and the village of Lovrečica in Istria. The surrounding area is characterised by forests, lush fields and a rocky coastline. Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital, and Trieste in Italy are not far away. The enchanting Mediterranean town of Umag can be reached quickly by car via the central country road. Once the summer residence of the Romans, the Venetian buildings still give an idea of its former splendour. The narrow alleyways and seafront promenade of the medieval old town offer many opportunities to savour the delights of regional cuisine. In addition to game and fish specialities, Istrian truffles are particularly popular. Lovrečica is a small fishing village with a quiet atmosphere. The local church with its precious organ is well worth a visit.
