Camping directly on the Croatian Adriatic

The campsite site is largely gravelled and mostly flat. All pitches and facilities are accessible for people with reduced mobility. Camping Finida is located in the middle of a lush pine grove, nestles directly on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and can be reached quickly via a central country road. In a very beautiful location, guests have a good 200 pitches of around 100 square metres at their disposal, most of which are shaded. The campsite has well-maintained sanitary facilities and washrooms. There is an extra child-friendly sanitary area and a nappy-changing room for younger guests. Washing machines are also freely accessible. Dog owners can enjoy a separate dog shower after extensive visits to the beach. Guests can cater for themselves in a small supermarket, there is a pizzeria and a restaurant serving regional dishes. Free WLAN is also available in the restaurant and reception area. An extensive range of diving and windsurfing courses, a volleyball court and bike hire round off the campsite's feel-good concept. The Adriatic coast of the Istria region is known for its rocky beaches. A small sandy beach has been created especially for children, and there is a playground right next door. The paved beach promenade runs all the way to Umag, 7 kilometres away, and is ideal for long walks.

Mediterranean landscape and culinary delights

Camping Finida is located between the harbour town of Umag and the village of Lovrečica in Istria. The surrounding area is characterised by forests, lush fields and a rocky coastline. Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital, and Trieste in Italy are not far away. The enchanting Mediterranean town of Umag can be reached quickly by car via the central country road. Once the summer residence of the Romans, the Venetian buildings still give an idea of its former splendour. The narrow alleyways and seafront promenade of the medieval old town offer many opportunities to savour the delights of regional cuisine. In addition to game and fish specialities, Istrian truffles are particularly popular. Lovrečica is a small fishing village with a quiet atmosphere. The local church with its precious organ is well worth a visit.
