Very good place - always happy to return

Nice reception - great place with the highlight of the sanitary facilities. Showers included. Smaller facility, but still two wash houses! The friendly site caretaker rakes (!!) the site after departure. Definitely go eat at 'Zum Hirschen': rustic with great cuisine and atmosphere. Rolls are deliver… More

Good campground, but a later arrival would be nice.

The campground is well-maintained and is beautifully located right by the forest. Since we rarely stay longer than one night, a later arrival than 6 PM would be desirable.

Great Place

Are still here currently Super well-maintained site, very clean wash houses. It's not always the cleaning staff's fault for dirty toilets and such. There are enough pigs among the campers. Whoever writes something negative about this site should turn around when using the toilet and clean up.

Very Good Place

We were there for a week with child and dog. You can reach Fichtelsee directly via a natural path, where you can walk well with child and dog. The site is well-kept and the sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned and very clean. The reception is also well organized. We will definitely go back ther… More

Great place by Lake Fichtel

Nice reception. Friendly staff. Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. A highlight is the heated shower for dogs. Extensive hiking area starting from the campsite. Good restaurants nearby. We only wanted to stop for one night on our way but spontaneously extended our stay by 2 nights. The si… More

Relaxed Winter Holiday

Anyone looking for a simple campsite as a central starting point for winter or even summer excursions will certainly find it a good place here. Sanitary facilities are absolutely fine, the baker comes early with the car and brings the pre-ordered goods, all at fair prices. We will definitely come ba… More

Peace and Nature Pure

Very nice location, hikes directly from the site to many destinations in the Fichtel Mountains, sanitation somewhat aging but very clean, absolutely dog-friendly, great for relaxing, we felt very comfortable, would love to come back. The Wi-Fi could be better.

Everything is excellent

We were there twice in 2020. Very nice hosts. The location is very beautiful, everything is spotless. You can undertake many hikes from the site without moving the car. Unfortunately, there are no shopping opportunities except for the daily baker's cart, but there are options in the village. The old… More
