Nice place by the sea. New clean sanitary facilities. Check-in at the indoor pool. Best to book online. Ideal for the night before the ferry crossing.

Campsites great, sanitary facilities poor

I came from the ferry, was tired and wanted to rest for 1-2 days at the site and take a thorough shower. Unfortunately, both the toilets and the showers were so dirty that I feared catching an infection. The toilets had "brake marks" that weren't removed throughout the following day (there were no toilet brushes for DIY cleaning!). Every possible shelf in the shower was coated in thick dust, and the basket for showering supplies was covered in old debris...simply disgusting. At least the unsanitary floor can be walked on with flip-flops. The location of the site is nice, the staff is friendly, the view of the water, and the short way to Wexford only partially compensates for the dirt. The internet did not work. Not again, unless something fundamentally changes regarding cleanliness!

Somewhat average campsite. A reservation is recommended due to high occupancy because of its proximity to the ferry port. We only got a spot at the edge without electricity without a reservation. The campsite is tidy, and the pitches are generously sized. The site is right by the sea. However, there is no sandy beach. The sanitary facilities are acceptable. However, the showers cost 2 EUR each and cannot be regulated or turned off; the water just keeps running. So, you pay for the waste... If we were to arrive again by ferry, we would probably look for another campsite that is a bit further away from the port. We paid 23,-- euros for a camper pitch without electricity + 2x2 euros for the showers.
