Camping Feniglia

The campsite offers plenty of shade under pine trees. Beach directly across, as always in Italy "expensively" furnished. Sanitary facilities are completely outdated, despite high overnight prices, showering with tokens costs extra. No hot water available for washing dishes. When I criticized this, the young lady at the reception responded in an outrageous manner that I should just return to Germany if I didn't like it here. We were there in September 2025, there was an unbearable mosquito invasion, no remedy helped. We fled inland after one night. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place.

Beautiful, quiet, and shady spot under pine trees. Old but very clean toilets. Great beach across the road, nice elongated bathing bay. Porto Ercole is reachable in 40 minutes on foot: picturesque yacht harbor with restaurants.

The reception was relatively cool and dry; he was really not extroverted at all. The site is okay, although the facilities are somewhat dated, they were clean and cleaned multiple times a day. There are two washhouses, some also have standing toilets. The showers cost money, but the water was rather hot than warm. The small supermarket resolves the issues of daily needs. At a tap, you can get really good red or white wine for €4.20 per liter; bringing your own bottles is allowed. You can easily cycle to the village of Ortebello. The washing machine costs €6, but the machine only runs for 30 minutes. The site is good even if you want to take the ferry to Sardinia. The spots for permanent campers look terrible. We would use the site again.
