Beautiful campsite by a lovely lake. Extremely friendly staff. The on-site restaurant is highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

At check-in, I was brushed off because departure is by 12:00 PM and I should wait in front of the site until 2:00 PM. I was at the reception at 11:30 AM, waited until just before 12 PM and asked if there was a possibility to go to the site. That was not possible; I had to wait until 2:00 PM. I stated that this is just harassment, and I received the response that if I didn’t like it, I could just leave. This is really a disgrace how campers are treated. I read in the reviews that the staff is supposed to be very friendly, but there was probably completely overwhelmed, very unfriendly staff at the reception that day.

So the holiday can begin. Great place. Just beautiful and the site operators are very nice. We will definitely come back.

Nice campground with super friendly owner. The noise level from the highway takes some getting used to. The lake has crystal clear water and invites swimming. Shopping opportunities nearby. Ideal for an overnight stop or a weekend trip.

There is a lake where you can swim. Showers available at cost, furthermore extra rooms to wash your dishes. There should also be a washing machine on site. Unfortunately, there is only a small area where you can go with the dogs, but the dogs here are free. To walk the dogs, you need to leave the premises, as you cannot walk around the lake either. Unfortunately, there are no nice opportunities to walk the dogs outside, otherwise well laid out with restaurant, kiosk, etc.

Simple booking for the overnight stay. Very friendly staff. You feel at home right away. You can hear the A28 and A1 highways, but we found the noise level bearable. Plenty of greenery and a beautiful swimming lake. We didn't go to the restaurant, but the terrace and the beer garden were full of guests. The place is also suitable for a longer stay. We will definitely come back soon.

A beautifully designed area with a great lake and beach area. The spots for day guests (motorhomes and caravans) are quite narrow, so that you can neither put chairs out nor extend the awning. The staff and owners are very friendly, and the restaurant and food quality are really good. However, for dog owners, the site is a clear no-go. There are no running opportunities nearby, and dogs are prohibited throughout the entire site (except in the area of your own pitch). A dog is even not allowed to walk the path to the sanitary facilities. The permanent campers have enforced that everyone can only rent a pitch there without dogs. Unfortunately, there is also no bread roll service that would be reachable on foot in a short time. Only on weekends and during the main season is a service set up for that.

Very nice operators and the lake is really great. Toilets and showers were clean. It was our first time there and we will go back.
