With the picturesque River Ulzama and the fantastic mountain backdrop, Camping Ezcaba in Eusa is the ideal starting point for excursions into the Spanish region of Navarre. A cycle path leads from Eusa to the city of Pamplona, which is famous for its Gothic religious buildings. If you want to spend a day at the campsite, there is a wide range of leisure activities on offer: The outdoor pool attracts swimmers. There is also a playground at the family-friendly campsite. The brave can test their balance on the climbing wall. Holidaymakers can chat about their holiday experiences at the barbecue area or in the cosy restaurant, which serves typical Spanish tapas and regional delicacies, pizza and much more.
During the city festival of "San Fermin" in July, full occupancy and higher prices are to be expected.

Friendly staff. The pitches are mainly arranged in terraces and are small. Sanitary facilities are sometimes unheated, but otherwise functional and clean. The restaurant offers good local home-cooked food. From the pitch you can easily bike to the city for sightseeing (about 7 km to the center, very good bike connection via exemplary bike paths).

I do not understand the partly negative reviews. The place is excellently located and nicely designed. The pool has a certain charm. The reception is friendly and helpful.

Stayed there for 1 night while passing through. The pitch areas are very small, not all pitches are demarcated, some are open. Sanitary buildings: 1 completely new, 1 old, both spotless clean, great. CP relatively completely overpriced, at around €35/night. But it is almost the only one in the area. Swimming pool and baby paddling pool, green grass around, everything very well kept, not heated ;-) Due to the high price, one star deducted.

We arrived in Pamplona a week after San Fermines to take a look at the city. It is the only place in the area. The occupancy on that day was maybe 10, at most 15%. A week earlier, the place was completely booked out. It looked like that in many places as well. One had the feeling that they were still cleaning up, even though it wasn't dirty. There is a washroom that must date back to the 1950s or earlier. However, there is also a newer sanitary building where everything is in good condition. The gastronomy was not inviting and therefore was not visited. The pool costs €6 per use, Wi-Fi €4 per day. Our pitch fee for a caravan, car, and 2 persons was €30.40/day, which is extremely exaggerated given the occupancy and the offer. But compared to the price during San Fermines (about €60), it's almost a bargain! Furthermore, the description on this portal is not accurate. The pitches have no electricity or water connections. Rather, there are electricity/water pillars in a few areas from which about 12 pitches are supplied, with only 2 water taps available. You can take the bus into Pamplona. The bus stop is -depending on where you look or whom you ask- 500m, 1km, or 1.5km away. 500m is stated on the large information board at the site; the reception says 1km, and the flyer handed out by the reception promises 1.5km. In reality, it is about 1.5km. A tip: Drive by car to the bus stop. There are plenty of free parking spaces available there.
