Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze

I'm not particularly sensitive, everything was very clean. What bothered me was the special charge, the energy and environmental fee of 2.50 per person. In Garmisch, at the Tourist Info, they hadn't heard of it either. It was the first time I heard about it. I didn't ask at the reception, I didn't want to cause any trouble. What do you call that? Rip-off? I'm speechless!

The way to the Eibsee is super quick and you can also reach the Zugspitze by car in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the campsite itself does not offer any catering. However, there are supermarkets directly opposite. Unfortunately, the booking price was incorrect and we had to pay significantly more. If you don't expect this, it is quite frustrating.

The comfort pitch I had had a nice view of the Alpspitze. In addition, you could do V/E including cassette emptying at the pitch. The reception was friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were quite dirty. Additionally, an electricity flat rate of 5.81 euros per day is charged, which I believe is too high for most.

The inadequate sanitary facilities were completely dirty at 9:30 in the morning! We paid €62 for one night for that. In the tent kitchen, there is a hot plate... I've never seen something so awful!

2 days with the camper on the parking space. The stated free Wi-Fi is hardly usable. Electricity extra. One pays for this grand view. Crossing the street to the shopping options is a test of patience and a sporting endeavor. However, the staff and the ladies at the reception were very nice. A transition to the other side should be feasible with these parking fees and the visitor tax.

We were passing through to Sardinia in July 2023 and stayed here for 3 nights (2 adults + 2 children aged 7 and 10). The site is beautifully located and offers a great view of the mountains. Nice staff, clean sanitary facilities + shopping opportunities directly across! With the GrainauCard, you can use the bus for free both to Eibsee and to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The site is a good starting point for many activities. We visited the Highline179, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Zugspitze, the Eibsee, and the Partnachklamm. The Loisach was perfect for setting up your folding chair and enjoying the cool water during the very warm temperatures. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

Not too large campsite with clean sanitary building, washing machine, dryer at reasonable prices. Good price-performance ratio. Bus stop right in front of the campsite. With the guest card you can use the bus for free.

Unfortunately, the site does not deserve 5 stars from my perspective. It is located between a federal road and a railway track, where trains whistle at every crossing (around 6:30 AM). The supply situations at the parcels are inadequate. There, even the toilet can be disposed of. However, the motor home must drain the grey water over a drain in the entrance area. Unfortunately, the site is completely gravelled; one searches in vain for a lawn as well as for entertainment for children. Thus, clearly no five stars.
