Oops :-(
The inadequate sanitary facilities were completely dirty at 9:30 in the morning! We paid €62 for one night for that. In the tent kitchen, there is a hot plate... I've never seen something so awful!

Too loud and too expensive
2 days with the camper on the parking space. The stated free Wi-Fi is hardly usable. Electricity extra. One pays for this grand view. Unfortunately, the site does not deserve 5 stars from my perspective. It is located between a federal road and a railway track, where trains whistle at every crossing (around 6:30 AM). For us, THE campsite where we are several times a year. Very nice location with a great view of the mountains. Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze welcomes guests directly on the Loisach river in Grainau, Bavaria. The largely flat terrain is partly covered with tall deciduous and coniferous trees, which separate the individual pitches from one another. In addition to the pitches, which are equipped with an electricity connection, there is also rental accommodation available. A noise barrier shields the campsite from the main road. The campsite offers a children's playground, a bread roll service, a restaurant and a grocery shop. The nearest pool and swimming pool are 2 km away.
Hiking and skiing around Camping Erlebnis Zugspitze
In winter, the Zugspitze attracts visitors with its fast downhill runs and a well-developed network of cross-country ski trails. The nearest cross-country ski trail is 1 km away and the ski bus is just 100 metres away. This takes skiers to the ski lifts 2 km away. The Zugspitze offers 20 kilometres of pistes with guaranteed snow and is also Germany's highest ski resort. In summer you can go hiking here. The world-famous winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with its great restaurants and chic shops, is well worth a detour. In the warmer months, guests can take a dip in the cool waters of the Loisach, go canoeing or simply enjoy the sunshine.
