Moin The groundskeeper is very unfriendly. He goes The toilets have only been cleaned poorly for the past 3 days. From Saturday to Sunday, the toilets are not cleaned at all, as they say it’s a quiet day. The groundskeeper doesn’t care if people make noise at night. Relaxation equals zero. The dump is below all standards. Rats are pre-programmed. The place is also not beautiful. At the reception Not even a friendly word. Be careful, she’s a toxic injection.

A conveniently located spot near the highway. The highway is slightly audible. The site manager was very friendly. The site is more of a natural site and has aged a bit. The sanitary facilities were okay, but have room for improvement.

A good spot for overnight stays. Friendly groundskeeper. The restaurant is delicious, albeit pricey. Sanitary facilities are a bit older but always clean. I would recommend it for a stopover for anyone. For a longer stay, especially with kids, I wouldn't recommend it. There is a playground and access to the lake (which is quite far away, and you have to walk along the admittedly not very busy road outside the campsite), but as a day guest, you feel completely unwelcome due to the no-passing signs for the "protection of permanent campers," even if the staff radiates the opposite. A simple walk around the lake is not possible, and thus you feel locked out in the "parking lot" for day guests. Conclusion: Top for a stopover, I would give it 4 stars; flop for a vacation (as it's actually max 2), so overall 3 stars.

Very good access from the A 7. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating site caretaker. Holiday-like very beautiful facility with a large lake for swimming and bathing, walking, and relaxation. Surroundings very good for cycling, shopping in the village is easily possible. Hannover and Celle are very well reachable for excursions and sightseeing.

Beautifully located campsite, very natural but well-kept by a great lake. This was our first time, but definitely not our last time at this site. Very friendly and helpful site manager and very clean sanitary facilities. Highly recommended. Please do not compare or confuse with 5-star sites.

We were there with our two grandsons, 7 and 9 years old. The site manager, Mr. Wedemeyer, welcomed us very nicely and showed us some beautiful spots. We were very kindly received by the Held family. The children got along wonderfully. It was challenging to keep the kids quiet for 2 hours from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. If there was laughter, we immediately had trouble from the neighbors. Furthermore, the boys were also not allowed to ride their penny boards outside of quiet hours, which led to more trouble from a neighbor. If the doors of the washhouse were open, we were immediately reprimanded to keep the doors closed at all times, which we did not understand, as a musty smell was coming at us. Some sanitary facilities have already been renovated. It’s always a matter of money when the others will be renovated, which is also understandable. Our washhouse was clean, and the cleaning staff was always very friendly. We have been camping for over 20 years, but we have never encountered so much misunderstanding at any site. Herrmann, a very nice camper, often lingered with us, had a beer with us, and also took our children along to pick blackberries. Thank you, dear Herrmann, stay healthy so we can see each other again. We are happy to return, but we have already looked for another spot.

We have a year-round spot there and are very satisfied. We live in Hanover and can quickly escape the hustle and bustle of the city to this truly beautiful recreational area. We also enjoy the easily observable birdlife and the cute squirrels. The Springhorstsee is very clean and ideal for swimming. The bathhouses have been partially modernized, are clean, and are available in sufficient numbers. At this point, praise also goes to the cleaning lady who keeps these facilities nice and clean. The site manager is polite, helpful, and hardworking. The annual fee for the leased spot and the ancillary costs are understandable and moderate. Most campers are friendly and pleasant neighbors. The spots can only be leased with a yearly contract and thus it is easy for the lessor to get rid of troublesome tenants after a season, which only happens if one behaves unreasonably loud, unfriendly, or otherwise unpleasantly. We are really very satisfied with our spot and also with the campsite rules. So far, we have had a nice time there and will gladly continue to stay.

A very well-maintained, natural site in a wildlife-rich heathland. The recreational offerings and destinations for day trips near the site are great! The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean!! There is a restaurant on site and shopping possibilities about 2 km away.
