Meadow terrain around the 8.5 hectare large Springhorstsee. Pitch spaces for tourists at the entrance area. Place characterized by permanent campers. Highway within earshot.

Perfect for a stopover
A conveniently located spot near the highway. The highway is slightly audible. The site manager was very friendly. The site is more of a natural site and has aged a bit. The sanitary facilities were okay, but have room for improvement.

Good overnight place, not suitable for a longer stay
A good spot for overnight stays. Friendly groundskeeper. The restaurant is delicious, albeit pricey. Sanitary facilities are a bit older but always clean. Very beautiful nature site
Beautifully located campsite, very natural but well-kept by a great lake. This was our first time, but definitely not our last time at this site. Very friendly and helpful site manager and very clean sanitary facilities. Highly recommended. Please do not compare or confuse with 5-star sites.

Very good campsite
We have a year-round spot there and are very satisfied. We live in Hanover and can quickly escape the hustle and bustle of the city to this truly beautiful recreational area. A very well-maintained, natural site in a wildlife-rich heathland. The recreational offerings and destinations for day trips near the site are great! The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean!! There is a restaurant on site and shopping possibilities about 2 km away.

Super friendly and helpful caretaker!!! Was here with the camper in November 2016. (on transit). Sanitary facilities spotless, great location by the lake.

We visited the campsite for an overnight stay. Good value for money. Sanitary facilities clean. The campsite is located by a lake. The pitches and accompanying greenery are very neatly mown and spacious.
